I don't know if 15-year-old Taylor Momsen, of
Gossip Girl fame, is really into heavy metal. However, I saw Guns n' Roses (and Metallica) when I was 12 so I was a wee rockin' chick. But she certainly played the part recently in Yves Saint Laurent, black leather, shimmering jewels, and
smoky eyes.
Gossip Girl: Watch How Season Two Begins! Can't wait another six days to find out what happened to our Gossip Girl crew over the Summer. You can get some pretty big hints right now. Below the jump, I have the first five minutes of the season premiere.

Some lovely ladies of
Gossip Girl celebrated the upcoming season at a party hosted by Henri Bendel and YSL Beaute in Manhattan last night. The actors were also out to recognize
their costume designer, Eric Daman, who got a
big smooch from Jessica Szohr. Blake, Penn, Ed, and Chace were MIA, but the rest of the girls represented with lots of fierce posing.

Hello,
Gossip Girl props. It seems that the scheming characters of the CW's Gossip Girl are a little careless with their cell phones — or does disposable income just allow them to have a cell phone for one episode and then upgrade. It began with Serena Van Der Woodsen, who was spotted in an early episode of the show
with an unmistakable iPhone, pictured.

Sadly, the
Olympics are over, so what can you watch on TV now?. Never fear, the first season of
Gossip Girl came out on DVD in the UK last week, whetting my appetite for series two (alongside all the photos from
last week's premiere party in the US). Looking back on it all, I can't believe they managed to fit so much scandal, intrigue and dastardly Chuck into just 18 episodes (thanks to the WGA strike) – but then I remembered, this is all from those bods behind
The OC – a show with a breakneck pace that's hard to explain to a non-viewer.

Blake Lively had a rare moment without all her other high profile costars on the set of
Gossip Girl in NYC on Friday morning. As usual, Serena found a way to sass-up her school uniform with a
perfectly trendy purple bag. It's hard to believe that after this long wait, one of our favorite guilty pleasures will be back on TV in a little more than a week.

Have you ever wondered who the lucky person is that gets to decide what the
Gossip Girl gang gets to wear each week. It's costume stylist Eric Daman, who also once assisted Patricia Field on the set of Sex and the City. He recently stepped out from the background and
chatted with WWD about his enviable job.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted on the set of
Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday, but it didn't look like an ordinary day of filming. Instead of the
impeccably chic outfits we're used to seeing on our favorite upper east siders, the ladies were all decked out in costumes that would have been trendy in a very different time setting. Looks like
catfights aren't the only surprises in store for season two — if only September 1st could get here faster.

In the last few days, Jessica Szohr (that's Vanessa to you
Gossip Girl fans) has been wearing her long black hair twisted in dreadlock-esque formations. (It doesn't seem like she's had long enough to actually perfect dreadlocks, which take months to cultivate). What do you think: sexy earth girl or just messy?
