A few things
Wanted is not: quiet or steadily shot. It's also not all that enjoyable. But then again, I'm surely not the target audience for this film.

When Cartier throws a party, you can bet some of Hollywood's finest ladies happily come running. The stars were out in LA last night at the latest Cartier Love Bracelet launch. Hilary Duff brought her boyfriend Mike Comrie, while her ex —
which is definitely a good thing — Joel had Nicole by his side.
Well, OK, we already had one reason: Christian Bale. But now that
Common's joining the cast of the fourth Terminator installment, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, it's pretty much guaranteed I'll check out this movie.
According to Variety, "Story centers on John Connor (Bale), now in his 30s, who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines.
Street Kings is primarily focused on examining two types of police officers seen in many a film before: the rogue cop who disregards the law in the name of justice and the cop that appears to follow the rules but is deeply corrupt. You would think that in the hands of a talented guy like director David Ayer, who is well-versed in the handling of this kind of gritty material (having written
Training Day and directed Harsh Times) this movie would be not only entertaining but also darkly unnerving.
So, was it entertaining?
Chris Martin of Coldplay fame is a popular guy in the land of hip-hop. He popped up on a track from Jay-Z's 2006 comeback album Kingdom Come, and he teamed up with Kanye West for "Homecoming" on Kanye's most recent album,
Graduation.
The new black-and-white video for "Homecoming," which features Kanye and Chris Martin (as mostly an outline of himself), is a refreshing change of pace from some recent videos that seem like frantic strobe-lit messes of neon colors.

manjoyment alert — last night in NYC some of our favorite adorable guys gathered together at an event honoring
Cosmopolitan's fun, fearless males of the year. We always love to see
a little more John Krasinski (even if he does look a bit goofy here), and Peter Krause and Dave Annable are a breath of fresh air while we wait for their TV shows to come back from hiatus. Of course, it can't be ignored that Jessica Simpson must enjoy herself a fun and fearless man, as Dane Cook, John Mayer, and Tony Romo all made the list, and probably found themselves in an awkward moment or two.

Fashion Week in NYC, Fergie was back in musical mode at the 4th Annual Peapod Foundation Benefit Concert in LA yesterday. She and John Legend got to practice their big
Grammy duet, and Fergie also got to spend some time with her fellow Black Eyed Peas. The outgoing pop star always has plenty to say for herself, and in a recent interview she talked about everything from her man to Josh to her music to addressing those
pregnancy rumors.
It was all about the color at last night's
DKNY Delicious Night Fragrance Launch Party in NYC. Zoe Kravitz is somehow already as cool as her parents in her yellow satin dress alongside her friend Rumer Willis who went more understated in strapless black. Christina Ricci was still showing off her lightened locks which look great with her siren-red number up against more subdued outfits like Rashida Jones, who kept it comfy in flats.
