As expected, Madonna and Guy Ritchie received a preliminary divorce in court today, and it will become final in six weeks and one day. Madonna's paperwork cited "unreasonable behavior" as the basis for the split. — AP

The celebrity world seems baby-themed today! We had Louise Redknapp's fab news this morning, and yesterday Fearne Cotton was out shopping for baby clothes. Her best friend Holly Willoughby recently announced that she is pregnant, but I'm not sure that Fearne is pre-planning for Holly's baby in these shots — barring the fact Holly has months to go, these clothes look a little big for a newborn! There are also reports today that Fearne and her boyfriend Steve Jones have split up. Well, there's nothing like a little retail therapy to get you through a breakup!

David Duchovny & Tea Leoni Have Been Separated For Months

It's a bad day for celebrity marriages. Fresh off this morning's news that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are divorcing, David Duchovny and Tea Leoni released a statement that they have been apart for some time. It said:

"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."

David was recently released from rehab for sex addiction and was spotted at a street festival in NYC with Tea. We hate hearing about marriages ending, but for the sake of the kids it's nice to hear that they are keeping it civil so far.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie Announce Split

Update: Madonna's rep, Liz Rosenberg, confirms that Madonna and Guy Ritchie will divorce after seven and a half years of marriage. The couple requests that the public respect their privacy. They have not agreed on a settlement.

This isn't the first time we've heard this, but according to multiple reports, Madonna and Guy Ritchie are preparing to confirm their plans to divorce. The news was first reported yesterday by UK's The Sun, which claims that the announcement will be coming "imminently" and that the couple is tired of "the pretense" and wants the divorce finalized by Christmas.

The NY Post says the announcement is expected as early as today. Madonna recently started the US leg of her tour while Ritchie has been in the UK, and supposedly they recently underwent a final Kabbalah course to try and save their relationship. Back in June when all the reports came out that Madonna and Guy were on the brink of a split, most of you believed it was for real this time, and while we'll wait for the official announcement or denial, it's always sad when couples break up, especially when kids are involved.
