CBS's comedy department is starting to look a little like The Daily Show, Primetime Edition. Current Daily Show correspondent Rob Riggle has just signed a deal to create and star in a half-hour CBS comedy, following a similar deal by Samantha Bee and Jason Jones last week.
Riggle is committed to The Daily Show through the end of the year, but after that, he'll make the jump to CBS to start working on his show.

If you watched Greatest American Dog you're probably familiar with runner up J.D and his daredevil English Pointer and Border Collie mix, Galaxy (sometimes called “G-Money”). First off, I can't believe this show is over already! It feels like just yesterday we were getting to know these super pooches and their (sometimes dramatic) owners. But last night it was all about the final three.

An overwhelming majority of you felt Lisa Garza should get her own show on the Food Network, yet she was the only finalist on last season's Next Food Network Star to walk away without a deal.
Now the food and media world is abuzz with rumors that the Dallas restaurateur scored herself a new show on CBS. When asked about the rumors, Garza reportedly stayed mum, saying she "can't afford to screw it up" by saying anything to the media just yet.
