I usually associate parkas with Starter jackets and football games — not anymore. The new wave of fitted parkas are designed with the city girl in mind. This year's crop boasts glossy finishes and slim shapes.

Had they been silver, these Burberry Leather Gloves ($450) would of gone perfect with my femme bot Halloween costume. I can see them adding a fun punch of metallic to a sleek winter outfit but I'm worried it might look tacky. Do you have the King Midas touch or are these gloves a no-go?

Feathers were an unusual addition to the catwalk for Autumn 2008. Adding texture to an ensemble they appeared on the catwalk at Burberry and Alexander McQueen to name a few. Despite sounding slightly gross, they actually work well and the trend has since been embraced by the High Street.

I just expressed how stunning Amy Smart looked in this Burberry metallic tiered dress she wore to the reopening party for Burberry Beverly Hills. Another actress, Rose Byrne, also recently wore the dress to a red carpet gala in NYC. Ooh, competition!

Who to choose? Last night at the reopening party for Burberry Beverly Hills, many a starlet looked Fab. With Mario Testino and Burberry designer Christopher Bailey as the hosts, my favorite luxe grunge babes were Kate Hudson, Kelly Osbourne, and Amy Smart.

Some people like gangster chic, but scuzzlebee prefers Wangster chic! She drew inspiration from fashion's bad boy Alexander Wang and constructed an ensemble he would be proud of. I dig the oversize sweater and the studded belt.
