Brad and his boys
arrived in Venice for the
film festival just two days ago, but they were already boarding their water taxi on their way back to France today. It was a busy couple of days for Brad dad, who posed and partied with BFF George Clooney to promote
Burn After Reading and still found time to pick up a
trophy for Best Actor for his work in
The Assassination of Jesse James. We would have loved to see more of Pax and Maddox during their trip to Italy, but thankfully there's still that
spread in W magazine to look forward to.
The premiere of
Burn After Reading opened the
2008 Venice Film Festival last night, and the stars of the film embarked on a day of promotion along with directors Joel and Ethan Coen. Brad Pitt and George Clooney's rapport was in full swing – they fooled around with their co-stars Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand in the audience at the premiere, before a surprised Brad Pitt was presented with the Best Actor award he wasn't able to pick up last year for The Assassination Of Jesse James.

then gave Brad a yellow flower to pass on to his buddy George.

It's tuxedo time for Brad and George. The boys hit the big red-carpet premiere of
Burn After Reading this evening at the
Venice Film Festival, dressed to the nines and ready to steal the show. Of course, all their co-stars were there as were the Coen brothers, but forgive us, this week it's all about Pitt and Clooney.
Brad Pitt turned paparazzi on his beloved brood
for the November issue of W. While the actor, his partner, Angelina Jolie, and their six offspring — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox — often find themselves the subject of snapping shutterbugs, this time daddy Brad was behind the lens and calling the shots.
The Jolie-Pitts had Chateau Miraval in the south of France as a breathtaking backdrop and, most likely, state of the art cameras, makeup artists, and lighting technicians, but many moms and pops are able to capture their family's essence on film. Whether the pictures grace the pages of a major magazine or a handmade scrapbook or album doesn't make a difference.

Burn After Reading photocall today. The handsome duo
arrived by boat again with smiles, laughs and autographs for fans. During the session, when reporters got a little personal, the close friends kept things light by stepping in for each other and joking around.
No prizes for guessing where I'd like to be right now. George Clooney and Brad Pitt are both in Italy for the start of the
Venice Film Festival, and both were looking as dashing as ever yesterday. Brad was in Dad mode during the day, taking the gorgeous Pax and adorable Maddox out on a boat through the famous canals.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt changed out of their casual boating attire and into some dapper suits for last night's charity gala to benefit their organization, Not On Our Watch, at the
Venice Film Festival. The boys looked handsome as ever and happy to be back with each other to also promote their new movie
Burn After Reading. Brad
arrived with two of his sons, Maddox and Pax, earlier in the day, but it looks like the little guys sat this party out.
Brad Pitt and his lil sidekicks, Maddox, 7, and Pax, 4, didn't break a sweat as they made their way to board a water taxi in Venice. The trio kept cool in shades of white with daddy looking dapper in a cream button up and fedora and sons wearing lightweight linen and cotton shirts. While Pax paired his with a pair of white pants, Maddox opted for a black tee and cargos.
If you want to spark a debate, just gab about America's health and child care systems. While many countries offer new mothers a year of maternity leave, most American women get three months maximum. And in regard to financial benefits, there are few.
