Supersize shopping mall Westfield London
opened its doors to 3.5 million visitors and an array of celebrities yesterday. The Sugababes launched Boots and Leona Lewis performed and hung out with London Mayor Boris Johnson; what an interesting pair! Having
chatted about The X Factor finalists' single at the NTAs, Dannii Minogue joined Paul Sculfor to open the new Next flagship store.

A selection of cast members of Michael Winterbottom's new movie Genova walked the red carpet at the
London Film Festival last night including Willa Holland (who you may remember as Kaitlyn Cooper in The OC), Colin Firth and Elizabeth Banks. The movie is about a man who moves his two daughters to Italy after their mother dies in a car accident, in order to revitalise their lives and their new setting changes each of them in different ways. On the red carpet Colin
said of the movie: "I'm a dad, it's about a dad.

After the glamorous arrivals it was time to get down to the nitty gritty of the
GQ Men Of The Year Awards and give out the gongs. There were some fab photo opportunities as the stars collided – Dave Grohl and Bobby Gillespie looked like twins with their long hair, Josh Brolin got a kiss on the cheek from Thandie Newton, and a bewildered-looking Boris Johnson received his award from Trinny and Susannah. My favourite, James Corden, received his breakthrough award from
Gavin and Stacey co-writer Ruth Jones, and Alfie Allen and Jaime Winstone
had their engagement revealed by Alfie's sister Lily who introduced Jamie as "my future sister-in-law".

Earlier in the month we announced a
change in plans by the British Fashion Council to tackle the problem of size zero models at London Fashion Week. The BFC had previously announced plans for the models to have health checks before appearing on the catwalk but could not get support from the three other major fashion weeks (Milan, Paris and New York) so were forced to scrap the plans amidst fears of scaring off models.
Today the week faced another blow as the mayor of London Boris Johnson is being asked to pull funding from the fashion week.

The fifth series of Who Do You Think You Are? started on BBC One last night, with Patsy Kensit finding out about her ancestors and the roots of her late father's criminality.
Over the coming weeks
we will also see Esther Rantzen, Jodie Kidd, Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, Boris Johnson and Jerry Springer delve into their families' fascinating pasts.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale cheered on
their pal Roger Federer at Wimbledon's men's singles final yesterday, but the Swiss lost out to Rafael Nadal in the
longest ever final. The exciting match marked the end of the tournament at London's All England Lawn Tennis Club, which saw
Venus Williams beat Serena in the women's singles final on Saturday. The sisters got to celebrate together later when they
won the women's doubles.

After all the
TV-based fun last week it was time for celebs, and thousands of us non-famous folk, to put our feet to work and run the
Sport Relief Mile. The weather was horrible but that didn't deter Davina McCall from taking part in the London mile on Victoria Embankment yesterday. Politician Boris Johnson was also spotted in the crowds, as were WAGs Alex Best and Liz Cundy (who didn't have
long dresses to trip over!).
