30 Rock Gets Gossipy With Blake Lively, Leighton Meester I can't let this day go by without telling you about the most awesome stunt casting/crossover idea I think I've ever heard: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will guest-star on 30 Rock, playing high school classmates of Liz Lemon's in an episode where we find out Liz was actually a mean girl in high school.

OK, yes, I know I was just
talking about Gossip Girl. But forgive me for going back to the well so soon, because I can't let this day go by without telling you about the most awesome stunt casting/crossover idea I think I've ever heard:

No word on whether Blake and Leighton's characters will also be mean girls — or whether they'll be victims of Liz's nastiness.

Welcome back,
Gossip Girl fans. If you weren't still basking in your Labor Day vacation last night, then you too watched the awesome and mostly hilarious premiere episode of season two like I did. True to form, the writers of Gossip Girl packed in a whole lot of plot, and the back-and-forths were at times mind-boggling.

Just because
Gossip Girl Blake Lively has hit instant fame doesn't mean she can't still shop on a budget. She can and she did recently with this
Alpinestars Chambray Shirtdress ($68) she wore on her way to The Late Show With David Letterman. The bodacious blonde
is really into casual shirtdresses, but considering the weather is warm and her body is hot, I can't blame her.

The countdown has begun.
Gossip Girl season two is debuting tonight, and we can barely contain our excitement. Upper East Side scandals, beautiful people, and fantastic clothes; what more can we ask for.

Can't wait another six days to find out what happened to our
Gossip Girl crew over the Summer. You can get some pretty big hints right now.
Below the jump, I have the first five minutes of the season premiere.

Blake Lively had a rare moment without all her other high profile costars on the set of
Gossip Girl in NYC on Friday morning. As usual, Serena found a way to sass-up her school uniform with a
perfectly trendy purple bag. It's hard to believe that after this long wait, one of our favorite guilty pleasures will be back on TV in a little more than a week.

Have you ever wondered who the lucky person is that gets to decide what the
Gossip Girl gang gets to wear each week. It's costume stylist Eric Daman, who also once assisted Patricia Field on the set of Sex and the City. He recently stepped out from the background and
chatted with WWD about his enviable job.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted on the set of
Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday, but it didn't look like an ordinary day of filming. Instead of the
impeccably chic outfits we're used to seeing on our favorite upper east siders, the ladies were all decked out in costumes that would have been trendy in a very different time setting. Looks like
catfights aren't the only surprises in store for season two — if only September 1st could get here faster.
