There were so many great and touching moments on this week's
Ugly Betty, I can't wait to talk about them all. But there are also some good laughs. I mean, I know that Hilda isn't a huge part of the episode, but her anecdote about using every advantage — which includes her referring to her boobs as "the Pointer Sisters" — may have endeared me to this woman forever more.

How much fun it must be to wear the designer's pick to
a charity event benefiting a great cause like UNICEF. While the hostess, Rihanna,
brought the mostess, a few other lovelies donned Gucci garb. Becki and Blake both wore looks from
Gucci's dark, folksy Fall collection, and while the two have similar studded and embroidered embellishments, the silhouettes are vastly different.

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in
a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of
holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with
all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her
Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF.

It was a starry night in Miami Beach at Fontainebleau's reopening party on Friday. Kate Hudson stood out with her bright blue dress as Paris Hilton struck a pose in her shimmery ensemble. Gwyneth Paltrow wore a tiny
LWD and hung out with Alex Rodriguez but it was
Madonna's other BFF that ran interference when a girl tried to flirt with him at the party.

On this week's
Ugly Betty, the senior management at Mode is whisked away into the country for a team-building retreat led by Daniel and Connor. This is a brilliant move, as it makes possible all kinds of good stuff, including a plethora of hunting and forest jokes and some amazing costumes that are supposed to denote a casual time in the woods (see Claire's get-up below).
And while the adults are away, the young assistants at Mode do play.

Daniel Craig has been busy premiering
Quantum of Solace in Europe, and last night he finally came to the US with his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for a screening in NYC. While the film's female stars skipped the event, Daniel recently said any of his former co-stars like Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow or Nicole Kidman would
make great Bond girls for future installments. He wasn't lacking in female company last night, though — Becki Newton, Debra Messing and Molly Sims all took a stroll down the red carpet.

We've witnessed Betty Suarez the heartbreaker for some time now (turning down engagements, letting Gio slip away in favor of some alone time) but on this week's
Ugly Betty we see Betty Suarez with a major crush on a boy. It's cute to see her swoon and make not-so subtle attempts to show the object of her affection how she feels.
Betty isn't the only one crushing.
Last week, Betty let her good and decent self help out an old enemy in need by showing her the ropes at Mode. In doing so, she made a monster out of Kimmie, who nabbed a promotion and declared ominously that she felt like her old self again.
So when
Ugly Betty opens this week, Kimmie is empowered and all the rage in the office.

This week, US Magazine declared its Hot Hollywood crowd of 2008. To celebrate, the mag
threw a big bash, and naturally, the hotties followed. Whitney Port rocked a spunky '80s ensemble; Blake went her signature menswear route; Becki complemented the carpet in a refined blue Yves Saint Laurent frock; Vanessa Hudgens worked sequins in a Kaufman Franco mini; and Olivia Palermo chose a sophisticated black and white tuxedo blazer.

The ladies came out in the name of affordable clothing at the preview party for the
Comme des Garcons for H&M collection Thursday night. Maggie Gyllenhaal didn't feel like taking off her trench while Selena Gomez looked totally adorable in her all black look. Becki Newton laughed off rumors of
trouble with Lindsay Lohan that caused her guest starring stint to be cut down by
saying, "I think it's hysterical.
