This week was bursting with beautiful looks thanks to the
Rome Film Festival. While some dazzled in their fancy frocks, others preferred to keep it more casual and flirty. Ashley Tisdale shined in her fun embellished Jenny Packham dress, while Margherita Missoni rocked in a pair of shiny
harem pants.

Last night
US Weekly celebrated their annual
Hot Hollywood issue in New York with real life couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The adorable duo has been
busy promoting HSM3 around the world prior to its big opening this weekend but Zac's already got other projects being highlighted. Just released is
the trailer for 17 Again — it's like Big and Freaky Friday but with Hollywood's hottest rising star.

After taking their movie all over the world, the
High School Musical kids were back on their home turf to premiere the third and final installment of the franchise in LA last night. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens looked like king and queen of the senior prom while Ashley Tisdale debuted her new darker hair. Fellow Disney star Selena Gomez was there to support her pals, and there were plenty of other celebs and their kids to check out the film.

There have been changes in the appearances of the
High School Musical cast since the first TV film aired on the Disney Channel in 2006, especially in the case of the gorgeous Zac Efron, now 20, who now walks the red carpet as a bona fide teen idol.
Hundreds of screaming fans agreed that he was looking suavely handsome in London's Leicester Square last night for the
High School Musical 3: Senior Year premiere, alongside his similarly photogenic onscreen and offscreen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and their costars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu.
Love it or hate it, the HSM phenomenon is absolutely enormous, advance ticket sales for this movie in the UK
are above £800,000 and will be close to £1 million by the time the film shows at cinemas on October 22.

The
2008 Emmy Awards are almost here and
stars are already stocking up on swag. Must be nice. Actress Ashley Tisdale showed up to the style lounge looking cute as ever in a plum ruffle dress worn under BDG's Double Stripe Cardigan.

The
Emmys aren't until Sunday, but a bunch of stars already got the party started at the style lounges in LA yesterday. Ashley Tisdale, Bar Refaeli, and Stephanie Pratt were just a few of the ladies who took advantage of the opportunity to stock up on new shades, bags, and shoes among other sweet swag. Without Sienna by his side, Balthazar Getty got some male bonding time with Eric Dane before they support their respective shows on Sunday night.

This week, we witnessed a slew of style mavens working either the red carpet or the sidewalk. Prints were lively, studs were heavy, metallics were shiny, and leather leggings were rockin'. See how well you were paying attention to the minor, but oh-so-major, details.

One week before next weekend's
Primetime Emmy Awards lots of stars of the small screen came out in LA on Saturday for the presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The show airs Saturday and was hosted by two of my favorites, Sarah Chalke and Neil Patrick Harris, who kept the laughs coming. As expected,
Mad Men and
John Adams both took home multiple statues —
check out all the winners here.

As
I told you earlier, Britney Spears won three awards last night, sweeping the board at the
2008 MTV Video Music Awards. After her
cringeworthy comeback performance last year, it felt like this year she'd finally got it all together — she looked stunning in her mini-dress as she opened the show with a skit featuring Jonah Hill (UK readers, you can watch it all unfold on MTV tonight from 8pm). Rihanna, T.I, Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers also put on some memorable performances, with Pink's spectacle of a performance standing out as a particular highlight.

Britney Spears was greeted with cheers of excitement, which must have boosted her confidence before finally scoring her first VMA. The good luck kept coming as she took home three moonmen last night! Britney was "speechless" but then added, "Oh, my goodness, thank you!
