Samuel L. Jackson was honored by friends and colleagues last night at the American Cinematheque gala in LA. The event was sponsored by AMC, so Jon Hamm was out with his girlfriend to support
Mad Men's home network, while JT hammed it up on stage.

After taking their movie all over the world, the
High School Musical kids were back on their home turf to premiere the third and final installment of the franchise in LA last night. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens looked like king and queen of the senior prom while Ashley Tisdale debuted her new darker hair. Fellow Disney star Selena Gomez was there to support her pals, and there were plenty of other celebs and their kids to check out the film.

Chihuahua lovers came together in LA last night at the premiere of
Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman brought Lily Sheen to pose with two of the doggies who were the stars of the evening. I bet she went home asking for a new puppy.

There's nothing like a Lakers basketball game to get a whole random bunch of celebs together, and it was business as usual at the LA Lakers vs Boston Celtics game this weekend. Acting their way through all the emotions were
Jack Nicholson, Robert Downey Jr
sat with Sylvester Stallone, Matt Damon
sat near Mark Wahlberg, Tobey Maguire, Denzel Washington, Andy Garcia and David Spade... phew!

Game four of the Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals was in LA last night, bringing out another
star studded courtside audience to watch what turned out to be an amazing game. Of course the celebrity fans were out to cheer for the Lakers and for the first half it looked like it was going to be a shut out. David Beckham and Justin Timberlake made quite the
manjoyable pair watching
Becks' good buddy Kobe on the court.
The Cannes Film Festival kept on kicking last night with yet another formal affair. Chopard was handing out trophies to Omar Metwally, director Spike Lee and Tang Wei and considering the sponsor, there was no shortage of serious bling being worn. Most of the ladies kept it simple in black or white but sexy Salma Hayek stood out in her dark green dress.

We've discussed some of the
big trailers that premiered over the weekend, and now I would like to point your attention to another little summer movie preview hitting the Web.
I think there are several ways to approach the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua (previously known as South of the Border): with excitement (singing dogs!), dread (what the heck is going on in Hollywood?), or wonderment at the jaw-droppingly ridiculous fact that this thing is happening. I've chosen the last approach because this thing is just so funny to me.

Rachel Bilson was back to her natural little self enjoying the Spring weather in Manhattan while filming
New York, I Love You today. While she was kind of unrecognizable in the blond wig,
Bella wants to know which hair color you like better on her? This time Rachel and her man Hayden were joined on set by Andy Garcia. You know, just another star added to the roster for this movie.

This movie is intriguing for the incredible ensemble cast, although when that's the only good thing
its own stars have to say about it, that's not a good sign.
The Air I Breathe opens in New York and Los Angeles tonight and I wanted to get your thoughts on the preview, as I'm a little torn. There's a lot of talent piled into this flick (Forest Whitaker, Andy Garcia, Julie Delpy, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Emile Hirsch), but I'm a little confused by the trailer .

A good part of the star-studded cast of
The Air I Breathe came out to the Arclight in LA last night for the premiere of their movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar Prinze (still getting used to that) stole the show
looking gorgeous in her stunning blue number. While she had no Freddie by her side, her costars Andy Garcia and Brendan Fraser were there to keep her cracking up on the red carpet.
