Last week, Ellen DeGeneres used her blog to speak out against CA Proposition 8, but last night she switched gears to host a party with Portia de Rossi in support of Prop 2. Tobey Maguire, Jared Leto and Amy Smart were just a few of the celebs that came out to support the Proposition regarding treatment of farm animals. Ellen's doing her part to stay politically active before the elections in November, but she's also been enjoying her life as a newlywed.

Even though we've wrapped up our wedding content, seeing these fab pictures from Much Love Animal Rescue's Second Annual "Bow Wow WOW!" reminded me of my BFF's wedding a couple years back. Instead of going the traditional registry route for presents, they requested that guests donate to this same rescue organization for unwanted or abused animals.

Vanessa Minnillo joined the ladies of Gossip Girl in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of Reebok's Freestyle World Tour campaign. Leighton and Blake looked adorable in their respective strapless dress and cardigan. As usual, Vanessa came ready to gush about her man and her new movie gig.

When I saw Amy Smart at the Reebok Takes You Around the World in One Night event last night in New York I remembered that polka dots on a sheer blouse convey the perfect sexy secretary look.
