The Golden Globe Awards "show" may have been lackluster for most people this year, but for six lucky Buzz readers, the Globes were pretty exciting!
Every weekday leading up to the announcement of the winners I quizzed you on Golden Globes past and present, and gave away a 3-month Netflix subscription to one randomly chosen quiz taker per day.

We haven't been shy about expressing our sadness over the loss of the Golden Globes last night. The short press conference and NBC's news-magazine broadcast couldn't take the place of the red-carpet fashion and acceptance speeches, and the ratings reflected that. Now we want to know what you think — did you miss the Globes last night?
NBC fought to keep the Golden Globe Awards on TV, but it looks like the network shouldn't have bothered: This morning's preliminary ratings show that just about 5.8 million people tuned into the network's news magazine broadcast hosted by Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell. That's about on par with the ratings-challenged Friday Night Lights, or slightly better than your average installment of America's Next Top Model.
I can't say I'm surprised. Here on the West Coast, there was no point in watching NBC's broadcast, which aired three hours after the TV Guide Network and CNN's Larry King Live had already showed the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's press conference announcing the winners. Even on the East Coast, NBC stretched out the broadcast to a full hour while other channels were carrying the 30-minute announcement live. 
Some of this year's Golden Globe wins were to be expected, but there were some things that I totally didn't predict. What did you find most surprising about the Globes this year?

...A let down to say the least. Feel free to finish the sentence however you want but it's clear this was the most uneventful year in Golden Globe history. The press conference held at the Beverly Hills Hilton included a bunch of entertainment news anchors from ET, E! 
The dramatically scaled-back Golden Globe Awards spread things around Sunday night, with Atonement, Sweeney Todd, No Country for Old Men, and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly each taking home two awards.
Atonement and Sweeney Todd nabbed the night's biggest prizes, for the Best Dramatic Picture and Best Musical or Comedy Picture; Atonement also won for Best Original Score, while Johnny Depp won the Best Actor: Comedy or Musical prize. Diving Bell took home awards for Best Foreign Language Picture and Best Director for Julian Schnabel.
