Asking someone to pick their favorite Harry Potter book is kind of like asking someone to pick their favorite child. In short, it's a really tough decision, and the best answer is that you love them all equally but in different ways. So instead of picking just ONE Harry Potter book to represent your love of the series, make a complete seven-book set of adorable Potter-inspired DIY cover ornaments that will make your tree look magical. If you want to go all out with a full-on Harry Potter Christmas (and you should), then we've got you MAJORLY covered.

What You'll Need

Step 1

Print out covers of the Harry Potter books. Cut them out. Get a large chunk of the Model Magic, then spread and flatten like a pancake. Make the Model Magic larger than the book cover.

Step 2

Step 2

Press a paper book cover onto the Model Magic. The "clay" will be sticky enough that you should not need to use glue, but for extra security, you can always add dots of hot glue around the edges to hold down the corners of the covers.

Step 3

Cut off the excess Model Magic around the edges.
