Yay Alicia!!! I love her even more now! My grandmother, a former smoker whose health has been impacted by it, refuses to buy anything that Philip Morris produces because she loathes big tobacco so much. She even had a list of their products on her refrigerator (Kraft, Nabisco, et al)

i think that alicia is always trying to do the 'right' thing which is a great thing for a role model to do, knowing that smoking is something that is better to stop with younger fans

with the A-rod thing - um...she shouldn't have signed the pre-nup - that's what they are for - protection in the case of divorce. oh well...we'll see what happens

poor tom - i don't get why people get so bent out of shape about leaving organizations - but hopefully it'll just get thrown out.

I hope he will not "suspiciously" be dead soon. Good luck with that Peter.

I think not only is Alicia Keys ridiculous but so is every person on here saying they "hate Philip Morris". I guess all of you didn't know that Philip Morris spends billions of dollars every year on cessation (that's quitting smoking)aid programs. Oh and I'm sure you must not know that they also spend billions of dollars on Youth Smoking Prevention and require every retailer they do business with to verify ages before all tobacco purchases and to put those stickers on the doors of convenience stores that say "We Card Under 18" and "It's your ID Don't Use it to Buy Tobacco for Minors". No one requires them to do this, including the government. Philip Morris happens to be the most responsible tobacco manuacturer. They just also happen to make a product billions of people use world-wide. I quit smoking 5 years ago. Smoking is a choice and though it is addicting and very difficult to give up, anyone with enough commitment and respect for their body can do it. I should know!

"This comment goes out to all the girls who have really slept with Sam Talbot in the past months. My friend had been seeing him for a while and she just found out that she has an STD. They did have unprotected sex so there is a good chance that even though he's not showing symptoms now he could be a carrier. I would strongly urge anyone that has been in sexual contact with him to go get tested."

bostonbelle, while they attempt to appeal as sorry and fixing image in America, they are this moment flooding 3rd worlds with tobacco. Smoking in those place are at a rate that probly gives them 3 new or continued puffers to each westerner they lose by by death or just quitting in the USA. The age is not a consdieration in those places and no legalities to protect children like as America do. Also no health insurance for poor or legal recourse. You are exactly the example of how they want to be seen now and hopeing that being altruistic to atone so the troubles for them will be less and forgivness quicker.
