I thought I had read somewhere that Kate didnt use to like Leo back when they did Titanic but I dont know for sure.

I love Leo, he seems so genuine and real. Not to mention IMO he's one of the best actors of my generation.

I am so glad that they are going to work together again. I think they have great on-screen chemistry.

I remember when I saw Titanic I didn't know who Kate was and I was so friggin jealous of her, because I loved Leo. Now I like her a lot all of her movies are really good, she's a great actress. And Leo is amazing, I want hime to win his Oscar already.

I love Kate Winslet and liked them together, so it should be interesting to see them again now. But I saw her interviewed when 'Titanic' came out and I had the opposite impression, musiclvr224. It sounded like they had a good time making that movie.

Actually Kate Winslet just said that at the time of filming Titanic they just were just platonic friends so kissing him was weird but she always said she loved him in interviews, I think she even chose him over Johnny Depp

I remember going to see it with my sister and we bawled so much that we were red and swollen when we left..we were so embarrassed. And then we went home and of course the theme song came on the radio and we started bawling all over again.

Mind you I was 24 and my sister was 30...ha!!!!

I can't believe that it will be 10 years this December since Titanic came out. And look how far they've come in their professional careers and private lives.

I admit I do miss the Kate from back in the day when Hideous Kinky and Holy Smoke came out. Although, she did Titanic she still chose to do smaller movies (above mentioned)afterwards and Leo got to be the bigger star, so she was still not that big and you could only find her movies in smaller theaters and she would be on the covers of indie magazines. I loved those times, when it was lots of fans but still a small group of fans that loved Kate (if you know what I mean). It was like she was our Kate. But I do admit that it was also a bit frustrating because it was hard to find her smaller movies and not that much info out about her, etc. But you can't have it both ways. lol

But people grow and change and now she has this amazing life and everyone knows who she is. lol And it seems she's happier than she's ever been.

Leo is fantastic, one of the best actors around definately. Always loved Kate but can't go past the way she looked in Titanic - she was absolutely stunning.

I STILL have a crush on him after all these years. He's so cute, and a great actor! He was my obsession when Titanic came out (I was 11, people, ha!) and I had posters of him and *NSYNC all over my room! I'm excited to see them reunite on-screen. They have great chemistry, and Kate is fabulous as well.

Leo and Kate are 2 actors who deserve an Oscar. They are the cream of the crop. I adore them both. I still think Leo was robbed when Jamie Foxx beat him. I can't believe that Hilary Swank has 2 Oscars and Kate has zero.

To the first reply: I don't know if they got along then or not, but i remember reading a recent interview where Kate mentioned that Leo changed for the better character-wise. She said that he didn't even know the word charity back then. LOL.
I remember reading back in the Titanic days that she said how he made fun of her feet and when she invited him to her first wedding he just didn't show up, she was quite disappointed. But obviously they kept in touch and get along well now. I like Kate, but i'm still not very fond of Leo. He seems like he constantly tries to improve his image that was pretty much ruined because of all the scandals after Titanic. I'm in the minority i know, but that's my impression. But Kate is GREAT!

This is one of my favorite books — so beautifully written and intense. I'm nervous because the book-to-movie transition doesn't always happen smoothly, but the photos that I've seen give me hope. Do Frank Wheeler right, Leo!
