Not surprise because I doubted it when he was in an accident in a car with another woman.

Karma's a b*tch! He cheated, so him and his other woman got into a nasty car accident. Whatever, he's still a good actor though.

Well, if he and his wife had been separated since Dec. 2007, not sure that I would call him being with another woman in Aug 2008 "cheating", but the rep's comment about "for legal purposes" is a little weird. It is sad to see such a long marriage end and I hope he recovers from the accident ok. He is one of my favorite actors.

Well the article says they've been separated since December 2007, so let's hope he wasn't cheating before that.

Aw, why is it the first conclusion that the divorce is because the man cheated? Besides, they've been separated for 8 months. Could be anything.

Yea, how DARE he start dating after he and his wife split up last year! The CAD! He's supposed to live in celebacy the rest of his natural life! No one ever breaks up because they just aren't compatible anymore, it MUST have been cheating!

lol, popplewell. Yes just we defend all homewreckers.
By your logic then, one can say that all anniston birds are just as typical and will flock together to accuse everyone else as being homewreckers.

I just thought it was her accusing him of it and him being shocked at the filing for divorce? Well, if it's really true then he sucks for doing that. Sad

I didn't get the idea that there was an affair either, just her accusations. She never had anything to back it up. I remember thinking it smelled like a money hungry person to me. Wants out of the marriage but doesn't want to lose all the perks.

I don't know about where Morgan lives, but in VA you have to be legally separated for at least 12 months before filing for divorce if it is on "no fault" grounds. So that is why the comment says they have been separated for legal and practical purposes since Dec '07.
