I love Jessica, but I definitely think she should forget about an acting career. I miss the pre-Newlyweds Jess.

The thing is she picks the absolute worst movies. If she would do maybe a supporting role in something that wouldn't put all the pressure on her to hold a movie together, it might work. She can't act well enough to carry a movie (clearly) but I think that she has just said yes to anything they throw in front of her. While Duke's was a waste of a movie, I thought she was cute.

I think it's pretty clear she has no shot at being a real movie star. Papa Joe needs to stop forcing that career move on her

I think that if she was smart, she would have stuck to supporting roles until she was more comfortable in front of the camera. These star vehicles were disasters and I think she is going to have a hard time being cast again.

I feel like she's just trying to find something that she can do to justify being a celebrity. It's like, "Will you like me as a movie star? Will you like me as a country singer?" She seems like she is trying too hard.

She should really just take her cue from Speidi and learn how to accept being famous for nothing (yes, I know she sings, but at this point...you know...).

i think that's she's made a good effort so far but i think that she should just stick to what she knows best - and just sign. i'm not a fan of her country twang...
