I agree, too. Dr. Drew is probably spot on, and he doesn't owe anyone an apology! From listening to Loveline, and watching Celeb Rehab, I think he is a really intelligent, level-headed guy, and he had every right to say what he said.

Dr. Drew was wrong for even saying what he said about Tom, and Toms people were right to fire back at him. No one, not even someone you THINK is nuts should be diagnosed as "suffering from child neglect" no matter what. Thats a strong accusation.

CaterpillarGirl, that was not an accusation. It is a fact. Cruise has admitted that his father was neglectful. Drew's years of experience dealing with trauma victims first hands speaks volumes about his ability to tell when someone is just "acting out" their trauma. Unlike hacks such as Phil, Drew is far from a sensationalist. I doubt anyone could make an argument against the idea that joining such questionable organizations is anything but an "acting out" of past trauma. After all, these organizations are far too restrictive for any healthy individual to find them pleasant.
