It's almost disturbing to hear her say that she wanted to get rid of all the extra weight.
Why would she be so concerned with that in the first place? Pregnancy is not the right time to be obsessed with weight. Maybe she wasn't mature enough to handle everything that comes along with a pregnancy, like a few extra pounds.

And she was never fat or overweight, so that statment doesn't make sense to me.

I guess she is free to starve herself again.

It's tough to deal with a pregnancy weight gain if you've been slim your entire life. I am a little freaked out about it too - I have never been over 117 lb, and having so much extra-weight now is strange and very uncomfortable. But I have the benefit of NOT being followed by the paps and having my picture taken every time I leave the house - and then criticized by the public for how I look pregnant.

She just had a baby and she's complaining about her weight, so sad. she's an horrible person to look up to.

she's not fat, and even while she was pregnant, she wasn't huge. No matter what pic they took of her, she looked healthy.

I also find it kind of odd that she's so horrified with having a bit more weight. Baby weight or not, I think it sends a wrong message when on one hand celebs are trying to say " oh be happy with your bodies girls" and then the next minute they're so anal with theirs. Kinda hypocritical... but sadly thats hollywood i guess

I'm sorry but aren't you guys being harsh. She didn't say that she stopped eating, she just said she felt less sexy with the baby weight. She lives in the same weight conscious society that the rest of us do and she sounds just as insecure as every one else on this site is about their weight (uh hum...recalling another post about body image on this site). I normally hate what she says, but she sounds normal here.

Pinkprincess101, she didn't say blond is more sexy to her personally. I think she was implying that men are into that image. The bottle blond, playboy type thing. Millions of women aren't dying their hair blond for nothing.

I find nothing wrong with her commenting on the baby weight. Weight gain of that magnitude can be very alarming and uncomfortable when someone has been small most of their life. She also is an actress whose job is to look good. Baby or not she will always have that pressure to look perfect so i dont blame her for her issues with the baby weight

Also there is nothing wrong with wanting to lose the baby weight in a timely fashion while preaching the whole be comfortable in your on skin deal. For some, being comfortable is on the thinner side and for others on a heavier side. If she is happier weighing less then there is nothing wrong.

Usually her interviews annoy me to no end, but this one actually made me like her a little more! Ok, at least not dislike her so much!
I think she's just being honest about the baby weight, many women feel uncomfortable with it too... And what she said about Cash was really sweet, "taking life as it comes" and all that... I'm surprised, I never found myself agreeing with her before

I don't understand why she said "I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him...". She was engaged to Michael Weatherly (her Dark Angel co-star) when she was 20 years old. And I believe she was engaged to one other person after that.

I would hate gaining weight too if I was ever to get pregnant--extra weight is gross to me. But luckily I hate kids and won't ever have any.

i'm not a fan but i do agree how the weight gain must be unsettling. i've been really thin my whole life and the thought of putting on 25-40 lbs totally freaks me out. cause your skin never goes back to normal!

She comes off as very insecure about her body and her weight in all of her interviews, but you know, deep down I have those same feelings, so I can relate. The idea of gaining weight freaks me out. Maybe it shouldn't, but it does.

Wow people really are harsh. I feel like people read way too much into her interviews and search for things to hate her for. There have definitely been a couple things that she says that I might not agree with however.

Popsugar is a great site, but I really feel like there is so much HATRED on these boards, it's kind of sad that people have all this pent up anger about people that they don't even know.

Why in every interview does she talk about:

1. Her weight
and
2. "double standards" and how men are looked at differently than women when it comes to sex. (Seriously, I've read this in at least 3 or 4 of her interviews!)

Here's something from her Allure interview last month:
“I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex. I don’t think sex is a big deal. I hated the hypocrisy of it. Men can do whatever, and it’s acceptable.”

Honestly, I wonder whats going to happen with her movie career. She's not really in that much demand is she?

I think she looks really good in these pictures, and I find I thought it was interesting to hear about her thoughts on marrying a non-actor, the engagement, the secret proposal etc. I also thought her quote about diva actors was hilarious as well!

I'm sure she isn't the first woman to feel unsexy carrying around 30+lbs. of extra weight while pregnant. Celebrity or not, it's not a unique experience - not sure why people are jumping on that statement. I've never been pregnant, but from the people around me who have been, it seems to be an uncomfortable way to exist, especially towards the end.

Interviews are primarily guided by the interviewer so if she tends to repeat herself, maybe the person asking the questions should ask her something new.

I think she's being pretty honest. Really. EVERY woman I've ever met felt like a land whale when pregnant by the end of the game. She shouldn't be any different.

.......he gave her a NOTE that said "I really really like you" ? did it have a two boxes at the bottom that said "check this one if you really really like me too" or "check this one if you really really dont"

She is so smug, and i dont understand her appeal, every single movie she has been in has been awful.
