Well, given that smoking is so difficult to give up, and she's already had enough stress for some time, it's probably not the best idea. Baby steps. Cut the girl some slack, okay? She's trying. She donates $25,000 of her own money to fight malaria, and you criticize her for smoking?

I agree with the above comments (#2). I was a smoker and it helped thru challenging times due to stress, depression, a physical handicap. Its an addiction and its one of the most challenging ones I know to quit. Lets leave Brit alone; she's on her way back to recovery and taking small steps to get to a better place in her life.
