Anne Hathaway Just Noticed This Crazy Detail About Her Favorite Gown in The Devil Wears Prada

The outfits that Anne Hathaway's character, Andrea Sachs, wore in The Devil Wears Prada were all pretty stunning, so it's no surprise that when the actress was asked which of them was her favorite, she couldn't pick just one. Anne sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, and when a fan asked which of the ensembles she loved the most, she replied, "Oh, so many. So many. I loved that green coat with the leopard collar in the montage — Andy's makeover montage."

Anne also talked about her second-favorite pick, a black v-neck gown that Andy wore in Paris, and the significance of the dress's neckline to the film's overall plot. "It was on recently, and yeah, I watched it, but I didn't notice it until that time that the neckline of my outfit and Meryl [Streep]'s outfit was exactly the same." That similarity wasn't a coincidence, as it was apparently a creative decision made by costume designer Patricia Field. "She was just such a genius. It was just this subtle thing that she put in there to show Andy was becoming Miranda." Watch Anne's full clip, and keep reading to get a look at the outfits she's referring to from the film.
