The Revenant: Leonardo DiCaprio Is Left For Dead in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's New Movie

One of several 2015 movies inspired by real events, The Revenant is director Alejandro González Iñárritu's follow-up to Birdman. The full trailer is out, and it's pretty bleak. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as 19th-century fur trapper Hugh Glass, whose team leaves him to die after he's mauled by a bear. It's a world away from Birdman, though it looks just as entertaining. Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, and Will Poulter costar in the film, out on Jan. 15. See you at award season, Leo!
