Ready For Live Music? 24 Artists Going on Tour This Year

With COVID vaccination rates rising and infrction rates beginning to decrease around the globe, it's getting a bit safer to travel and spend time around people, so plenty of artists are hitting the road for their long-awaited tours. While some artists were quick out of the gate in 2021 with a tour, like Harry Styles and the Jonas Brothers, many are making 2022 their year instead. The new year will see several musicians' rescheduled tours finally taking place (some after multiple tries at rescheduling), alongside some brand-new tours. Best of all, we already know more artists will announce 2022 tours in the coming months, making the year one of the most special for music fans to get back to live shows. While fans can probably expect some hiccups along the way, like rescheduled shows due to COVID, tours really do seem to be back in business for the long haul. Kacey Musgraves's "Star-Crossed": Unveiled Tour

Kacey Musgraves will have King Princess and MUNA with her when she kicks off her 15-show "Star-Crossed": Unveiled Tour in January.

Justin Bieber's "Justice" World Tour

Justin Bieber modified and then completely revamped his previously scheduled tour. The tour, which will finally start in February, includes 53 stops across the US, and Bieber will also make stops in Canada and Brazil.

Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" World Tour

Billie Eilish is kicking off her massive, 70-stop world tour in February in the US. The "Happier Than Ever" World Tour will showcase her 2020 album, "Happier Than Ever."

Dua Lipa's "Future Nostalgia" Tour

Dua Lipa's "Future Nostalgia" Tour starts in February and runs through the beginning of April with a total of 69 dates. Megan Thee Stallion is set to make appearances at three of the shows in March.

Silk Sonic's "An Evening With Silk Sonic" Las Vegas Residency

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's "An Evening With Silk Sonic" Las Vegas residency kicked off in February at the Park MGM Hotel in Las Vegas and runs through May.

Bad Bunny's "El Ăšltimo Tour del Mundo" and World's Hottest StadiumTour

Bad Bunny will travel throughout the US for 35 shows as part of his "El Ăšltimo Tour del Mundo" ("The Last Tour of the World") Tour, which kicks off in February in Denver. He'll wrap up in Miami at the beginning of April. Right after wrapping up his "El Ăšltimo Tour del Mundo" tour, he'll head back out on the road again beginning in August for his World's Hottest stadium tour
, which will see him perform 21 dates in the US before he heads to Latin America for an additional 21 shows.

Louis Tomlinson's North American Tour

Louis Tomlinson had to reschedule his 2020 tour more than once, but his US shows will finally commence in February and run through mid-March.

Imagine Dragons' "Mercury" World Tour

In February, Imagine Dragons will take their 18-stop "Mercury" Tour on the road starting in Miami. The five-week US leg of the tour will conclude in Phoenix, AZ on March 14, before the group heads to Canada and then Europe.

New Edition's The Culture Tour

New Edition are bringing Charlie Wilson and Jodeci along for The Culture Tour. The shows kicked off in February and will continue through early April.

Charli XCX "Crash" The Live Tour

Charli XCX announced her 35-date Crash The Live Tour would start at the end of March in Oakland, CA, and run through June overseas.

Chelsea Cutler's "When I Close My Eyes" Tour

Chelsea Cutler is going out on her first headlining tour since COVID starting in March. The tour, which also features Adam Melchor and Rosie, will run until the end of April.

BTS's "Permission to Dance" on Stage in Las Vegas Concerts

Following the success of BTS's "Permission to Dance" concerts in Los Angeles at the end of 2021 and their March concerts in Seoul, the band are now doing a similar stint in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15, and 16. Fans unable to attend the concerts at Allegiant Stadium will be able to attend a Live Play broadcast of the concerts nearby at MGM Arena. The last night of the concerts will also be live streamed via Weverse for ARMYs around the world.

The Jonas Brothers will perform their hits over the course of five nights from June 3 to June 11 at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas.

The Backstreet Boys have been on and off their "DNA" World Tour since 2019, and after COVID-related delays, the tour is picking back up in June. To kick off the rescheduled dates, the band are also holding a mini residency in Las Vegas in April.

Simple Plan and Sum 41's Blame Canada Tour

After rescheduling and then pulling out of their last tour (due to COVID), Simple Plan are heading out on a new tour with Sum 41 starting in April, which will run through August.

Gavin DeGraw's Full Circle Tour

Gavin DeGraw is heading out on tour starting in April to play his upcoming new "Face the River" album. He'll be on the road through the end of May.

New Kids on the Block's Mixtape Tour

New Kids on the Block are hitting the road with Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue for the Mixtape Tour. The tour starts in May and runs through the end of July.

Shawn Mendes's "Wonder": The World Tour

Shawn Mendes is returning to the road for 69 shows as part of Wonder: The World Tour. While the tour was originally scheduled to kick off in Europe in March, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forced Mendes to reschedule the European leg until 2023. The "Wonder" tour will now kick off stateside starting in June.

Usher is taking over the Park MGM Hotel starting in July for his Las Vegas residency. It will run through October.

Sebastian Yatra is taking his "Dharma" album on the road starting in August. He'll be on the road until Fall.

The Weeknd's After Hours 'Til Dawn Tour

The Weeknd's previously scheduled After Hours arena tour was rescheduled not once, but twice, before The Weeknd scrapped the tour altogether and announced his new plan. He'll now be kicking off his After Hours 'Til Dawn stadium tour in summer 2022. While the particulars are still forthcoming, you can expect songs from his new era (like "Take My Breath") to be incorporated into the show. After rescheduling his tour to 2022, The Weeknd also added shows and switched up the venues to accommodate more fans. The After Hours Tour starts in January.
