Kelly Clarkson spared no emotion for her rendition of The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's "Save Your Tears." The Texan singer and talk-show host covered the passionate pop-song-turned-ballad alongside her band (aptly named Y'all) on the latest "Kellyoke" segment of "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Although the original song is mellow in nature, Clarkson gave the track a different feel with her powerful vocals and plenty of impressive runs. With the inclusion of live drums and heightened guitar accompaniment, the entire performance ended up having more of a rock sound but with the same upbeat energy. While different from the original, Clarkson's take was as soulful as ever, and despite the incredibly difficult notes, she managed to belt it out and make it all look effortless.

It was an emotional show all around, with Clarkson talking to two pairs of best friends at different points in the episode, including Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata and June Diane Raphael and Jessica St. Clair. The pairs shared stories about how they first met and how they supported one another through difficult times, and they added even more heart to an already moving show. "Save Your Tears" seemed like the perfect choice for the day, and Clarkson managed to keep the love going and wow her audience (as always).
