50 Cent to Kick Off "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" Tour For Album's 20th Anniversary This Summer

50 Cent is heading back out on the road this summer to celebrate the album that shot him to superstardom 20 years ago. The G-Unit rapper is kicking off a world tour, billed The Final Lap Tour, in honor of his debut album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," per an announcement on May 4. In a tweet that included his upcoming tour dates, 50 Cent wrote to fans, "You've waited long enough!" and revealed he'll be accompanied by "special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes" in all scheduled cities. Singer Jeremih will also perform on all North American dates of the tour.

According to Live Nation, the US part of 50 Cent's Final Lap Tour will start in Salt Lake City, UT, on July 21. The rapper also plans to make stops in Canada and Europe with additional markets and special guests expected to be announced soon.

50 Cent's "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" has been long regarded as his career-defining album. It broke records, sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and earned the top-tier rapper multiple Grammy nominations in 2004. It's also one of the fastest-selling albums in history and went on to inspire 50 Cent's 2005 drama film of the same name, loosely based on his own life. Through his musical success, which includes his G-Unit record label, the rapper later transitioned to being a TV mogul with his ever-growing Power Universe on Starz — "Power," "Power Book II: Ghost," "Power Book III: Raising Kanan," and "Power Book IV: Force."

The Final Lap Tour arrives at the perfect time as it kicks off just a month ahead of hip-hop's 50th anniversary on Aug. 11. Read ahead to find out when The Final Lap Tour is heading to a city near you and how to get tickets.
