Rachel Bilson Unearthed a Throwback Photo of Rami Malek, and Help! I Can't Unsee It

Welp, it looks like Rami Malek hasn't always had that so-chiseled-it-could-cut-glass jawline that makes him so darn sexy. Longtime pal Rachel Bilson just dug into her archives to resurrect an old photo of her and her high school classmate in honor of #ThrowbackThursday, and all we have to say is praise be to the glow-up gods. In the picture, Rami looks almost unrecognizable, sporting a gold chain necklace over a white tee and what appears to be a black corduroy jacket.

Rachel captioned the double-take-worthy snap, "Hey @ramimalek where'd you get that gold chain? #tbt #oscarworthy #dontforgetthelittlepeople," as a nod to the Bohemian Rhapsody star's best actor nomination. Not only is her post a hysterical way to remind Rami of his, er, humble beginnings, but it also serves as the literal embodiment of a glow-up — well, the pre-glow-up phase, that is.

My only wish is that I'd seen this photo back in my awkward, brace-faced high school days so I had some reassurance that I, too, could grow up to be an award-winning superstar. For now, I'll settle for looking through these post-glow-up photos of Rami looking fine as wine.
