Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Celebrate Daughter Lola's Graduation: "We Are So Proud of You"

Lola Consuelos is a college graduate! On May 17, her proud parents, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, posted photos from her college graduation from NYU, celebrating her accomplishments. Kelly wrote in part on her Instagram, "We are so proud of you," while Mark wrote on his, "Congratulations Lola!!! We love you!!" Over the reel of images, they chose Ella Fitzgerald's rendition of "Whatever Lola Wants," a sweet way to honor their only daughter.

Lola's older brother Michael, 25, also graduated from NYU, and on May 17 he shared a photo of himself at the school's Yankee Stadium graduation ceremony, supporting his little sister. Kelly and Mark also share youngest son Joaquin, 20, who attends the University of Michigan.

Kelly noted that Lola, 21, graduated from NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music through the university's Tisch school. Graduates of the program take courses in professional and artistic training toward a BFA in recorded music. Though Lola hasn't shared her career plans, she released a single, "Paranoia Siverlining," in 2022. She told People at the time that her parents "loved" the song. "My parents are the last people to sugarcoat anything when it comes to my singing. They are going to tell me if it sounds bad! So when I saw they had a good reaction and liked it, I felt reassured," she explained.

"My parents, oddly, even though they're in the business, the one thing they have actually no idea about is music," Lola told the outlet. "They really don't know what they're talking about once when it comes to music. So it's very sweet to see them do their posts here and there and their little videos."

Some of Kelly and Mark's famous friends chimed in on Instagram to congratulate Lola in the comments of their posts. "Congratulations. Wow - in the blink of an eye," Andy Cohen wrote. "Omg how can this be! Pony club yesterday - graduating college today !" Carson Kressley wrote. Sarah Michelle Gellar chimed in, writing, "Stop it!!! Congrats Lola."

Earlier this year, Mark officially joined Kelly as the new guest host of "Live!" after Ryan Seacrest officially left the program. Mark had previously filled in on and off as a guest host since Kelly officially joined the show — then titled "Live! With Regis and Kelly" — way back in 2001.
