Your prayers have been heard, soap opera fans: All My Children has been rebooted! Well, kinda. On Wednesday, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa hilariously spoofed the popular series during the Halloween episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, and the results were pretty spot-on. Not only did Kelly reprise her role as Hayley Vaughan, but there were also a few more familiar faces in the mix, including Mark Consuelos, Susan Lucci, and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Mateo Santos, Erica Kane, and Kendall Hart, respectively. Wow, we forgot how many of our favorite stars started on soap operas!

Susan played Erica from 1970 until the show's last broadcast television episode in 2011, while Sarah played her daughter from 1993 to 1995, before eventually getting recast in the early 2000s. Kelly played Hayley from 1990 to 2000, and Mark played Mateo from 1995 to 2002. The show is actually where the couple first met in 1995! All we have to say is that Live really deserves a Daytime Emmy after this masterpiece. See more of the spoof ahead.
