    I loved him as Aragorn. I wish there were more Lord of the Rings movies. I also loved the "sex on the steps scene" in A History of Violence.

    I really like Viggo! He is such a nice calm relaxed guy, he reads all his fan mail himself. Thumbs up for that alone!! He is of Danish origin, I've got to like that, me being Danish myself! I also like that he is an artist, I paint a little myself too. Loved Hidalgo.

Viggo Peter Mortensen, Jr. (born October 20, 1958) is a Golden Globe- and Academy Award-nominated Danish American theater and movie actor, poet, musician, photographer and painter.

He is perhaps best known for his roles as Aragorn in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Frank T. Hopkins in Hidalgo, David Shaw in A Perfect Murder, Tom Stall in David Cronenberg's A History of Violence and as Nikolai Luzhin in Cronenberg's Eastern Promises.
