i loved oprah back when she cared less about ratings. she has all the same stupid shock shows that other talk-show hosts have. and she was so completely insensitive to the two boys who were kidnapped, especially to the one who was missing for around 4 years, she humiliated him in front of everyone. my heart ached for him, i stopped watching her show that day.
oh, and she brought us the Dr. Phil show. bleh.
Thanks to Oprah for get me another point of view of life. People around me think I'm too liberal, but I prefer to call myself moderate. Besides, what kind of comment will you expect from a strict thirld world country environment less than "you're too liberalist"
But Oprah show me the world. Okay, that's sounds exagarate. She shows me things that help me to be a moderate woman.
Although I have not watched Oprah for years, I admire a woman who has overcome challenges and can still say, "I am still here". She may not be everyones cup of tea, but she has made a significant impact.
this woman is an angel.
i cant believe she has been though sexual molesting when she was 10 or so and still standing until now, doing so many good deeds in the world. we need more oprahs, help!
Many years ago Oprah commented that if 1 person did 1 did 1 good deed 4 someone else, for example open the door 4 a stranger, let someone ahead of you in the grocery store, just do something nice 4 someone in need or just to do your heart good. They are called random acts of kindness. I practice this every day. Its gotten so I do it without thinking. Best advice I've ever gotten. Thanx
I Love Oprah!!! Finally, A Successful African American Woman with the power to make a difference!!!
