Gerry Butler is the best actor around: he can play savage Huns, powerful kings, archeologists, phantoms, doctors, farmers, gangsters, seamen, Vikings, sports figures, dragonslayers, Russian servants, vampires, and advertising executives...(Those who know his movies should see if they know these roles) I love his eyes, his Scottish brogue, his physique, his way...He's charming and kind and funny and marvelous. Although he would have made the definitive James Bond, I'm glad they picked flat-faced, blond, thug-faced D. Craig...now our Gerry won't be typecast. (D. Craig's last movie with N. Kidman bombed!)

I'm looking forward to "P.S. I Love You" on December 21....

And...Gerard was also an HONORS GRADUATE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW LAW SCHOOL so the boy is very smart, too!

I must've watched 300 about ten times before I returned it because of (((him)))).

i've also been a fan of Gerard's since dracula 2000... and it was playing A LOT on AMC for the past couple of weeks. it was exciting. AMC also had the second tomb raider with Gerard in it. I think it is on tonight at like 7 E/6 C And also every now and then, USA (i think is the channel) plays Timeline. Just thought i'd share with ya'll!
