Ciara's Beauty Brand OAM Skin Is Here

Fans of Ciara (translation: just about everyone) will be pleased to hear that the singer has launched her own own skin-care line called OAM Skin, which stands for On a Mission. While the entire five-piece collection debuted Sept. 15, it has been "years in the making" — and is already getting the stamp of approval from Ciara's husband and pro football player, Russel Wilson.

"Rus, as he was leaving practice yesterday, said to me, 'Baby, your skin looks amazing. That's that OAM,'" Ciara told POPSUGAR during a Sept. 7 beauty event for the brand. "He is so supportive."

The entire OAM Skin range focuses on boosting radiance, so you can copy Ciara's next-level glow. The brand is launching with five inaugural products that all feature vitamin C as the star ingredient, as well as a proprietary Tri-C Pro-Peptide Complex. There's the Vitamin C Hydrating Cleanser, Vitamin C Brightening Pads, 20 Percent Vitamin C Brightening Serum, Vitamin C Eye Revitalizer, and the Vitamin C Radiance Moisturizer to form a complete skin-care routine.

Her personal favorites, if she had to choose, are the face wash and serum. "Before I got into this industry, I didn't get the whole serum thing — I was afraid to use it, if I'm honest — but now I get it," she said, adding that with consistent use, "the glow-up gets to show up."

Ciara's OAM Skin marks the 12th celebrity beauty brand announcement of 2022. She joins the likes of La La Anthony, Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Winnie Harlow, Hailey Bieber, and more. Over the last few years, we've seen an uptick in celebrity-owned hair, makeup, skin, and nail lines, but Ciara had yet to join the party — until now.

Still, she said the brand is meant to be more of a reminder to take your time for self-care than a "solution" to the inevitable aging process. "I've been working on committing to really celebrating every stage of my life as it comes," she said. "That's how I look at aging. I don't want to be thinking about time so much [when] being able to breathe is such a blessing. I would tell my younger self be patient. Enjoy where you are."
