I love Nick. I think Jess treated him like complete and utter crap-like she was some sort of princess. Man-princess perhaps?? I don't really care for Vanessa. She is cute, but she just seems not really good enough for him. He is just such a family sort of guy who isn't stuck on himself or afraid to get his hands dirty. Anyone who reads any of my posts knows I hate Jess with a passion. Why is she famous? She can't sing, can't act...Why? If she wouldn't have married Nick and been on Newlyweds, she would've flopped a LONG time ago. That was what made her famous, because she was nothing before that. He was famous.

Well yes I will agree that Jessica treated him like crap, I think that stems from her being a spoiled rotten brat who has been treated like a princess from a very young age. That is in no way an excuse. I just thin it explains a lot. They both got married way to young, as often happens in life. I didn't make mention of my thoughts on Jessica, but just in general he bothers me. But I don't really know him so I guess I shouldn't judge him.

Vanessa is blah and Nick is so much better then her. She sucks at acting (hello even Jessica Alba was better then her in Fantastic 4 Silver Surfer). I wish she would have gotten into a knife fight with Lindsay, a fight where they both LOOSE.

Vanessa doesn't bother me for some reason. The fact that he seems like a nice guy, and they have been together for so long makes me think she must not be all that bad.

Nick is so down to earth and tries to be humble. Vanessa has a great personality. She was Miss Teen USA and Miss Congeniality. That usually never happens. Like someone said, the haters are showing up. I think they are great. And when Nick and Jessica got married, Nick was 28 but Jessica was 22. She was the immature selfish one. I guess after dating Jessica for 4 years, he couldn't see her for who she really was.

Nick is so much cooler since he ditched Jess. I bet he wouldn't be so worried about running into her as her creepy father.

I think Nick is over jessica and mature enough to act bump into Jessica without any anamosity. Jessica on the other hand, sadly enough, seems like she hasnt learn anything for her divorce. I believe was her "prince charming" but she with the help of her messed up family destroyed her marriage. Now shes jumping from relationship to relationship lika annoying flee.

Nick was the best thing that ever happen to Jessica - I believe she now knows that. No one, other than her family, will ever put up with her. shes just too much,

She doesn't bother me either. I think Nick is very wise and capable of learning from his mistakes. If he says Vanessa is cool and he loves her I believe him. She is so cute and doesn't seem as insecure as Jessica!

I don’t think Nick’s that humble because he definitely doesn’t know how to forgive & forget or let go of all the right things. And why always bring up that old as* pageant from back in the day that Vanessa won. No one wants to remembers that, so what’s with the reminder all the time. It won’t make people like her anymore than they do or don’t, simply because it means nothing. People win things all the time that state that they’re great at what they do therefore they have a great personality. When in fact they are two faced. Adults know this therefore you call them haters towards those they have a problem with because they can clearly see Vanessa or others have low morals. It’s their opinion so deal with it like you do the positive ones that you do like too read. They are not going away either.

And you cannot tell me that after 4 years, PLUS the years of marriage Nick could not see through his own female….I thought he was supposed to be intelligent. And if he realized this after saying ‘I do’ (and some people actually do catch it later) then he should have done something about it like not catering to Jessica like he did. Nick is at fault too when it came to spoiling Jessica. Now why Nick is still sounding blind too that fact I don’t know. But you cannot put that on everyone else and NEVER Nick too. Nick was the oldest and the husband that allowed Jessica no limits on anything, even on how she spoke to him & his own long time friends, which sometimes was completely disrespectful, & Nick never stopped her.

Furthermore Jessica took part of hers & ALL of his when it came to almost everything, so it appeared anyway. Nick took more time spoiling Jessica than he did taking care of his own career & physical being, everything revolved around her. Nick saw to that action just like Jessica wanted him too. Nick could have backed off but this grown as* man did these actions anyway….then after it was over Nick cried to world and had one hit CD. Now he is where he is career wise, who he’s with, and where he’s not going or moving in slow motion. That’s just a fact that adults know because they saw it clearly…they didn’t read it unconfirmed in a magazine or posting…they saw it. Nick’s actions are forever documented on DVD for the world to see.

Nick acted like buying Jessica things, letting her run too free on all the wrong things, and allowed the pouting like a toddler, was keeping his marriage together….clearly these things Nick was allowing didn’t keep Jessica around in the end. There is a vase difference between acting like boyfriend & girlfriend VERSES Husband & Wife….there HAS to be limits for everyone.

And I agree with some of you. I too am now beginning to believe the ego issue with Nick. Nick gets mad when you don’t cater to his opinion these days. I think he needs to understand that everyone in this world that wants to be a fan again, or wants to work with him doesn’t desire to cater to all his opinions and ideas because of his past career, looks, or how he allowed himself to be treated by his own wife way back in the day. That only makes the situation near to what him and Jessica had….one sided. THE NICK LACHEY PITY PARTY IS OVER my friend!!! Simply & nicely put, you cannot always expect someone to agree and cater to you and your feelings, be and adult. Get over the fact that everyone is not like you and yours. Stop the pity boy bit and the undercover detestation of some. It cannot change the future for the better.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion without being called a hater, especially when there are clearly negative things out there that Vanessa Minnillo HAS done, that makes them think the way that they do. I don’t hate this woman but I do under almost every poster out there positive & negative. It’s not like you hate the woman because these things are lies. They weren’t live action, but all the photos where clear as day and in color. And the things that Vanessa was quoted as saying is surely her words. In addition to what Vanessa said behind the scene of Nick’s video shoot before she was even with him, is caught on film. She made sure she was the only one in front of the camera when she stated those things. Vanessa was out to get Nick & she got him, but for what true reason is what’s truly bothering some people. People care about a distant stranger, so what………So how can you get irritated at people who are clearly NOT blind too the truth of what they have seen and heard coming out of Vanessa’s own mouth?

Lastly, even though I know Nick’s not that humble, definitely doesn’t how to forgive & forget and doesn’t like to be told he’s wrong….. but I must state it anyway. Remember I told you about the conversation at the oval table about Vanessa NOT being the new bond girl like she wanted and stated, but higher powers told us basically ‘hell straight to the NO’ AND I told you all WHY....I was right once again. The "Bond girl" for the new installment in the movie series is the Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko....now that’s OFFICIAL, it is NOT Vanessa Minnillo. I told you months ago on Nick’s other posting didn’t it Some of those posters were completely wrong for those thoughts & what they read. Any other female cast in the movie will be under Olga’s Kurylenko part / role, far as I know.

Actually it's not enough said. Because the answer is that these two people DO NOT WORK! So no one can ever make a big deal about how these two need rest from the working world, like they're actually involved in it.

I can’t say if Nick is nice or not. But he does seem weak when it comes to women. He sees things to darn late when they’re doing him wrong apparently. Yeah he did cry when he was also at fault too for his failed marriage. So PinkNC is right on target with that one too in my opinion.

People are always mentioning liking Nick because he was treated badly. That’s no reason to be a fan of someone. In my eyes they need to accomplish something great on their own. They should not expect me to buy their CD, DVD, or concert ticket because I feel pity for their situation. That’s a stupid reason to purchase something. I’m not financing anyone because they cry.

And this Vanessa woman does NOT have “a look”. So how can you love a style that she doesn’t have.

I also agree with a lot of you that the better story to report would have been IF they all actually ran into each other. Talk about a lot of PHONY actions going on during that time. I think Nick and Jessica would both go TOO overboard showing their 'supposed deep feelings' for the person that they are each now with. That would be a funny sight to see because it would be a point where they would both tell on themselves - feeling wise. And I DON'T mean that they still want each other either.

Yeah Nick has that ego/hunky jock thing going for him which is NOT my kind of guy...he's actually the opposite, but he's always seemed pretty nice, just kinda blah, still I can't hate him. Vanessa...I'm not so crazy about her, can't explain it, she just should have been happy with her MTV VJ job I guess, because what is she doing now? I mean, what is he doing? His last CD, in my opinion, was awful, no matter how heart-wrenching he tried to make it.
