Daniel Craig Is a Write-In James Bond Favorite

Daniel Craig was looking as dapper as James Bond should on the set of Bond 22 in London on Friday afternoon. We don't see a lot of Mr. Craig around these parts, but it sounds like some of you could use a little more 007 in your lives. He was a write-in candidate for guy you want to see more of in 2008 and this new Bond film was a commenter choice on big movie you most look forward to this year. Hey, if we're lucky there'll be more Bond-y manjoyment for all of us in the new year.

    OMG, I watched Casino Royale for the first time last night & absolutely loved it!!!!!! Daniel Craig is a wonderful actor and a Great Bond!!! Hope to see more of him this year!!
    Just curious.... Is he married/ dating anybody?

    Have been a Daniel Craig fun since he first stepped out the shower in the 1st Lara Croft flick...gun in hand, wet and ready...AHHHH. Those newly indoctrinated check him out in LAYER CAKE and THE MOTHER. He's a solid actor and those eyes...glad I am not alone in my hormonal reaction to Mr. Craig. Smiling

    I agree with everybody above me (except Ccsugar, obviously...but it's nothing personal girl). He is my favorite Bond so far.

    I also loved Mads Mikkelsen (Le Chiffre) in Casino Royale.

    Well, we can always give him a shower, can't we? I know I would gladly do that Drool, I have special soaps and vegetal sponges, bath oils...Wait, I'm starting to need a shower myself now...O.O!!!

    bond movies are always the best, and my faves are the older ones. i like the new ones too, but the older ones get to my heart. and my favorite bond actor to play bond would be sean connery.

    Eh. I'm with you, Ccsugar. He does nothing for me either. Didn't like him as Bond. He was too roguish in Casino Royale in my opinion. I like my Bond smooth and $exxxy (ahem, I'm looking at you Clive Owen) Eye-wink

    i wasn't so sure about how well he would do first, because my bond was always peirce as hes the one i new first but daniel is so sexy in casino royal and more or a roar character.

    I have been a Clive fan for a long time...however, I never could see him being a good Bond. He's a decent actor BUT I still just could not grasp what everyone else saw that made them prefer Clive...heck apparently another favorite of mines ALEX O'LOUGHLIN from the CBS vampire show MOONLIGHT was also on the short list for Bond...I cannot see him being a great Bond...however, Daniel always had something dangerous and mysterious about his personae. I definitely am glad he will at least be doing the next 2 to 3 Bond films.

    It's true that Daniel Craig was a good choice for the new James Bond after Pierce Brosnan. I remember him too, CheleBelle, from the first Lara Croft movie...He is very hot I have to admit, but he act well too...

    Black Velveteen, he was supposed to be like that, Casino Royale was the first book written by Ian Flemming featuring the character ...and Bond was not that charming, smooth, seductive man yet.

    New Line anniversary party for The Golden Compass up in some house, only not a house, more of a mansion but when you think mansion the French architecture doesn’t quite come across and this was very much a modern chateau.

    Only marquee attendees were Daniel Craig and Eva Green. Everyone else worth an A+ was on the boat with Clooney. And there was another bash for models and hangers-on at Eden Roc really not worth talking about.

    So let me just explain, just in case – sorry to bore you if you already know – you’ve never seen how a red carpet works at one of these events.

    Still photos first. Photographers camp out in their own section. Next it’s the tv crews. If it’s a civilised party, and it was last night, they will mark off spots. Reuters and the AP usually first and so on and so on. The stars will walk the line, usually do 2 questions max, if you’re lucky 3, and move to the next outlet. Always accompanied by a publicist hovering directly behind.

    When he or she has a date or a spouse who isn’t famous, usually one of two options: publicists leads date into party first to wait at the end of press line to be rejoined later, or the date hovers in the back also with publicist. Usually.

    Unless you’re Daniel Craig.

    Daniel Craig’s girlfriend is Satsuki Mitchell. In photos she looks a bit…hard. In person, she’s gorgeous. So unique looking, so striking… I can’t stop staring at her. Dylan says she needs to eat a bit but whatever… he’s all about the junk in the trunk anyway.

    When we ran into them at the du Cap the other night, Satsuki was at Daniel’s side, wearing a black shift, chatting comfortably with everyone else. At one point she walked by us and said to her friend F&CK OFF, and we all turned around because it was quite loud. Turns out she was taking the piss.

    Anyway, back to last night.

    First the Hotness. This is a man who fills a suit. He doesn’t just wear it, he fills it. Every inch of it. And in a good way. A man’s man. A real man’s man. The kind who can throw back straight vodka, turn on the chain saw but also pull out the chair for you and read when he’s bored. Virile yet intellectual, smoldering but smart, and not altogether comfortable with the attention. Very squirmy with fame. Which might be why he is so attached to his woman.

    They arrived on the carpet and it would be easy to say, like all celebrity “significant others”, that she was clingy. But she’s not clingy. HE is the one who is clingy. But not in a limp dick kind of way either. He posed with her, he would not let go of her. Then they made their way over to the tv media, all the while she is glued to his side, primarily because he kept her hand clasped in his and held it behind his back.

    It was incredibly sexy. Kinda possessive but in a respectful way, you know? So she was not wavering in the background like some worthless tart but an important part of his life that deserved more than the shadow. You can’t even imagine how attractive that is.

    Oh.... Daniel Craig, you make me drool. I loved him in Casino Royale, then yesterday I watched Layer Cake, he was really awesome in it. He is so sexy on the inside, it just pours out of him. He is not just an eye candy like Zac Efron, but more like a guy you really want to know. Droooooollllll.... love him!
