But is anyone sure that she was living with the guy? I know the rumor is out there. Those photos of them looking at apartments last summer don't mean they were living together. They may never have gotten a place and could have been looking for something for her and her mom to live in that was closer to her location shoots.

I thought she would turn out okay - learning from her sister's mistakes and all - guess not. Twinkle I was thinking the same thing - the statement was that they will support her blah blah, but a) how would they hide the pregnancy on the show (would she be behind a schooldesk the whole time? )

Wow, some harsh judgement in here. She's not the only 16 year old having sex, so why is everybody acting like she's the spawn of Satan right now? Yeah, she should have been on birth control and/or using condoms. Maybe she was and the condom broke.
As for the age, they met in high school!! And they've been dating for a few years. So if she met him her freshman year (at age 14) and he was a senior (17ish) there you go. NO trolling for minors, just a regular high school relationship.

well one thing for certain she is different than most 16 year old girls having babies. and that is money and help. many young mother's don't have that luxury so they have to struggle with raising a baby, trying to finish school and working. the only thing that jamie-lynn will have to worry about is how this will affect her career. and someone made a very true statement. think of how many young teenage starlets who have been in this same predicament and chose another route like abortion.

adoption probably wouldn't work very well with someone famous like her. would it be possible to give a child up for adoption and the raving lunatic paparazzi not being able to find out where the baby went?

Hmmm, Britney lost her virginity at 14 to a guy three years older than her and Lynne was the one who set that relationship up. Anyway, Jamie Lynn is hardly the first one in hollywood to have BC fail her (if she was on it?). It seemed like Bennifer got pregnant shortly after they started dating - then got married. Well, the proof that she is not ready to be a parent is the fact that she chose to announce this in a major magazine letting the world know.
