No surprise there - the few songs I did listen to were HORRIBLE, and no way in hell does she deserve the number 1 spot.

hm.. i don't see why she shouldn't be happy? all my friends have been raving about this album, a critic on E! said it was her best album yet, and it did pretty well considering britney's horrendous reputation in the past year and a half. plus, although she's not singing for her life on that album, a lot of the songs are hot! so there. thats my two cents.

This is what I figured would happen. When the album was first released, a few hundred thousand people worldwide rushed out and bought it (many, apparently, buying multiple copies, or so it's been reported), and the rest of the world is ignoring the album entirely. So to hear that Blackout has sold under half a million in a month, well, I'm not surprised. Britney doesn't have the appeal she once did, and a lot of people are outright turned off by her these days. Besides, from everything I've heard, read, and seen, the album isn't really that good...

this outfit! blech. it's not like she actually made the music herself! i havent heard it but the minute i heard she was gonna hire madonnas producers i was disgusted. i have no respect for these music "stars" who hire people to make the music for them and havent a clue about recording or play an instrument yet make millions of dollars off of singing, oh boy! no talent LOSER. go away......and let people with real talent who will respect becoming famous shine instead of spitting in the face of the public who put them there.

I can’t seem to understand why they continue to worry about & follow all these ‘sort of ’ singers from waaaay back in the sugar pop, bubble gum, boy band, teeny bopper days. Most of these where only considered popular because they physically looked good, and had something corny to say like the, “I’m a virgin” messed up slogan that these look alike blondes like to use back then. Or the boy banders saying, “We may be loved by many young women, but I only want one special woman in my life too love....and I want her to be just like my mom too”.

Huh, huh, yeah....they were soooo positive and knew just where they were going in life. Suuuure, you mean they were told what to say, sing, how to act, and pose. But now that they’re all grown up “Sort of”, they haven’t a clue of what to do in life. They are with media wh*re type women, while nothing themselves, straight out gay and still nothing themselves, act idiotic running around with no underwear on with unwanted children from user husbands, or trying to “Get the band back together” –the Spice Girls-, knowing most of the world just wants to see them in the media in order to laugh at them on a daily basis.

These old singers that still try to have it going on are tooo funny to me. They have no life and then want to blame us for being clueless and not seeing them for what they truly are now. We are NOT blind. They are NOT somebody career wise anymore. And it looks to be as if they NEVER will be again.

Oh, and not to mention the fact that I am sooo dam* tired of seeing some of them hate on each other, as if they’re life is so darn pure and on track these days. I say don’t talk about the other if you don’t know where in the Hel* you’re going yourself. Express your unneeded opinions elsewhere until you get your own life back....if ever. Don't hate on us out here.

Would someone on here please please PLEASE explain to me why a girl would even WANT to stay in a hotel almost every single night when she's got gorgeous homes in all kinds of different places? The fact that she hotel hops even when she has her kids with her signals to me that she truly has some very serious mental health issues. I feel so sorry for her and for her children. Her children need stability and protection and love - not an endless string of nights in different places. It's weird that it bothers me so much but I just wish for her and her children's sake someone in her family could help her get her life together and not be so ditzy and crazy all of the time. It's a tragedy to watch her life spiral out of control and for all of the magazines and people just like us to derive any entertainment out of it.

Has she sold any of her homes? I'm not shocked about her album starting to fail in sales.It's basically dance music but it's weak dance music. There are better dance albums out there made by artists that actually care about working hard for their career. Britney does irritate me with the fact that she does have a career people would kill for and she is taking it for granted. Money can go very quickly if you aren't careful

I like the old days when tween stars either went away or when they had real talent, got an adult career. Britney is clinging to her 15 minutes and trying to stretch it out. A smarter person who be grateful they ever made that much money in the first place and retire young and wealthy and find something better to do with their life.

I think Britney is bipolar. I think she is a good person but she is scared to leave the spotlight because she might be forgotten. She is a beautiful talented girl who has 2 beautiful kids, I just pray she gets her act together. I would love to see her take those extensions out, and cover up a little I like the short dresses hers are a little too short. Gets some self respect back girl. Your in my prayers!

the album wasnt bad at all but it was all production. she half assed the whole thing and she isnt even trying to do any promotion for it. my take on it is that if she doesnt care about her album why should we?
