Good for them! I thought it was kind of strange that somebody as wealthy as Christina had to have multiple baby showers when she could easily buy anything the baby needs. I think this is the first time these two have done anything that made me appreciate their existence.

I really want to know how long it takes her to lose the baby weight, I wonder if she is going to stay a little curvy or go back to her super skinny self. I bet shes going to go back to her emaciated self though and say its from breast feeding you burn so many calories. What I dont get ab that is how come regular mothers have a hard time losing baby weight, and celeb moms just cant keep it on? Its so f****d up.

I am so proud of Nicole, what a turn around for her after years of drama. Kudos to them both.

Also, I personally don't expect my showers to be based on what I can and can't eat. When I had gestational diabetes, I didn't request that they not get a cake just because I can't have any.

Yah I really dont understand I never heard until recently that breast feeding burns calories, its so weird b/c so many moms have hard time losing the weight, you know?

yeah I do know. my sis initially lost a lot of the weight but she's still struggling with the last ten or so pounds and she works out like 4 times a week. Breast feeding does burn calories, but not enough to shed all the weight in 2 weeks!

greggie- I understand what you're saying. I just think it's funny that it was on the menu. I mean, when I throw a baby shower I can think of a TON of appetizers and treats that are friendly to everyone especially the pregnant lady! And I'm sure if she ate one piece of sushi at the party it wouldn't hurt - but still don't you find it ironic? I don't know, I do!

Breastfeeding got all my weight off immediately - like I came home from the hospital both times weighing less than the day I got pregnant. And them breastfeeding exclusively for 6 months kept it off.

Unfortunately when they start solids and don't nurse as much, my weight creeps back up. *lol*

I don't find it ironic at all, no. There's so many things on a sushi menu she can eat even staying within the "guidelines," so I'd be good.

Oh see I never knew that until celebs said that its from breastfeeding. I just thought it was weird b/c my mom said it took like almost a year to lose all her weight so I always thought it was hard for people to lose their baby weight.

I use to think the sushi thing was weird too. Especially when she first said thats what she craved, I was like well you better crave something else, but I guess she can have it.

I think it is hard to lose the weight for a lot of people. And I definitely think that statistically speaking, celebrities are obviously lying about how they lose the weight.

It's just not impossible to lose a ton of weight very quickly from breastfeeding, especially if you have trouble keeping weight on in the first place.

I like her, can't wait for her baby!
