After I ran the Chicago marathon I could not even get off the couch, let alone get all dressed up and go out for dinner.

From what I've read, she didn't run the whole marathon (walked a good part of it). I'm not digging on her for that, but it might account for her not being totally zonked like people are who run the whole thing hard.

after I ran a marathon (ok I walked at mile 18 for a good 1/2 mile) I chugged a bottle of champagne, ate an entire order of takeout chinese and passed out. That is crazy that she's out and about like it was no thing!

And Pollypoo, that is so harsh! Like dreamangel said, whether you manage to run, walk or crawl the thing it's still an impressive feat to make it to the finish line.

Wow, she's able to go out in HEELS after a marathon. My hats off for her, I did one awhile back and just basically passed out afterward.

On a different note, I think Katie's been reading our comments on here because she has started dressing much more age appropriately... she looks so young and pretty and fresh faced in these photos.

With Tom Cruise it's always some kind of marathon-- his MI3 opening he used motorcycle, speedboat, taxi, helicopter, sports car and subway to draw attention to the NY premiere. Coincidently he has a movie premiere in NY the day of the NY marathon--photo op.

She averaged 12 min miles which is more of a brisk run/walk, but she had to keep that pace for five and a half hours, which would leave most people sore. No doubt Tommy had a fleet of drs, chiropractors, massage therapist, etc. waiting to prep her for the movie premiere, so he could further the illusion that they are a super-human couple.

She really does have a vacant look on her face here. Granted it might be she's tired from running a marathon and doing a premiere all in one day, but it's certainly not the first time we've seen her looking vacant. Bless her heart.

I think Katie tends to look very Jackie O but this pic she just looks purely hypnotized...look at that creepy smile and very pale, gray skin. That makes me worry. I know she just ran a marathon but she does not look well here.
