I just meant that if she's hanging out with people she had previously cut out of her life, maybe she will make some changes.

I don't have to shut a darned thing. Bottom line, why can't this self absorbed twit just stay home, rent some movies, and hang out there? She lost her kids and hasn't made one iota of a change in her lifestyle since that happened. In fact, she's been out and about causing havoc more than ever. It's sad, actually, that she needs THAT much attention that she is willing to sacrifice what should be the most important thing in her world. This isn't something orchestrated by Federline, this is something she has done all by herself. He didn't introduce her to drugs, she was doing them long before she met him. He didn't force her into marrying him, she pursued and proposed to him. Yeah, he went along for the ride, yeah, he took the carrot she dangled, yeah, he ended up richer for that. But SHE is just as culpable for the mess her marriage ended up being. She is not an innocent victim. How can anyone look at this girl and think that she deserves to have custody of her dog, much less two beautiful sweet boys? She needs to get her sh*t together and start acting like someone's mom, because she IS. Either that, or give up custody all together.

And please spare me the "she needs to eat", "she can party if she wants", "she should be able to go get coffee" crap. Right now, the eyes of the world and more importantly, the eyes of the court, are on her behavior. Now is the time to show a little decorum.

Coachlvr-at this stage in the game her family cant afford to let her push them away again. When someone is this far into their own crap you have to literally force them to do things. Its obvious that Britney cant make decisions on her own, and if her family is serious about getting her help then they wont wave their white flags so easily..

The paps were nice by screaming at the woman and screaming loudly so that Brit couldn't hear what the woman was saying. She's in a such a terrible state that it could add more damage to the wreck that she is.

I agree JennaV- I her mom and Jaime need to get her back to LA (Louisiana) asap. If that means they have to hogtie her and drag her ass onto a plane, then thats what she needs to do. She does not need to be in Los Angeles right now. She needs to get away and get out of the public eye for an indefinate amount of time. Only then will she be able to start sorting her life out and figuring out what it will take to get her career back..or if its even worth having a career in show biz.

Well it doesn't look like her family is staging any sort of constructive intervention. If anything they seem to be partaking in her self-destructive behaviour.

If she is to make any sort of recovery (and I use the word 'recovery' in lieu of 'comeback' because it's patently clear that she needs to focus on her health and family right now) she's going to have to step away from the limelight for a year, maybe more. She needs to face her demons, deal with her issues and start living a more peaceful, drama-free, drugs-n-alcohol free, stable life.

That's perhaps the only way she can attempt to get her kids back. And once her life is in order, she can focus on reviving her career. Until then, any minor professional achivement of hers will continue to be eclipsed by her personal drama and before you know it she'll end up like another Anna Nichole Smith.

Intervention won't do anything if the person doesn't think they have a problem. And it doesn't look like she cares if she gets her kids back.

Her sister is acting and dressing as trashy as she is. I hope people telling Brtiney to go away becomes a trend.

I think JL is going to try to talk some sense into her sister. At this point, it looks as if JL is the only person that Britney can trust. Maybe Brit's mom is telling JL what to say to Brit to get her sane again.

I really hope that she gets well. I don't want to see her as another Anna Nicole case. That would be really sad.
