He is SO FRICKING RICH as a producer and star of "24" - I think he had a $40 million contract -- of course he could afford a taxi or private driver- why don't more of these stars do that? I don't get it. His 2nd DUI could be a big problem, or not. Love him but this is too bad.

He was at a Fox party Jaan. He probably HAD to go. When I'm forced to go somewhere I don't want to go, I usually throw back a few myself. Of course the difference there is I don't drive. He seems to not get that part....oh well. He'll pay for it. Hopefully he learned his lesson this time! He needs a spankin!

This guy is an apparent lush with many known drunk episodes. I'm glad he finally got caught but think of all the other times he's been out and about endangering the public.

Don't these people ever think of the OTHER people on the road? Yeah Keifer if you want to kill yourself go ahead, I doubt anyone would really give a rat's ***. I could care less about the well-being of these celebrities, but they are endangering other innocent people's lives! It makes me ill. I'm sorry, but there should be harsher punishments for DUI offenders.

Why can't these people just take cabs or hire a driver? He can afford it.

There is nothing wrong with getting drunk, but please make sure you have some form of designated driver to take your ass home, celebrity or not.

Having said that, the funniest thing I've ever seen him do is attack that Christmas tree in some hotel lobby, years ago. Drunk people are funny, but not when they are behind the wheel.

He's been reported to have a drinking issue for many years. I'm surprised this is only his second DUI.

Taxi's are hard to find in LA. They don't roam the streets so you can wave one down like in NY and San Francisco. You have to call ahead and they take forever to show up sometimes, if they even do show up. But lots of people rent limos or town cars with drivers. I'm surprised the studio didn't provide some service like that for the celeb guests at their party. Because if he had killed or hurt someone, their bartender might have been implicated for serving someone already too intoxicated.

Good point Ginger! I wonder why Fox couldn't spring for some sort of service/person to drive him home. And why in hell did they let him leave?! You would think Fox wouldn't want to risk the chance of one of their biggest stars fatally hurting himself or others. Hmmmm... Shame on Fox too! The make me mad a lot for a lot of different reasons...
