I loved Pink, for YEARS! But when she failed to show up at her concert in Paris in October with NO WARNING or no press release to explain why...I lost all respect!

What about the responsibilty of celebs to set a decent freaking exampl! Flying to Paris to party is cool...but NOT when you party so hard you cancel a concert at the cost of the audience assuming they are available on December 16th (two months later).

Our tickets cost €200 and we still haven't heard back from the ticketing agency about the fact that we cannot make the December "reschedule"

Not the greatest way to state your opinion, but the whole fur issue upsets me too. I don't understand how people, celebrity or not, can disregard the awful treatment animals to through for fur, especially when faux fur is cheaper, looks better, and lasts longer. Poor lil animals...

Celebrities do have a lot of influence (i.e. the "Jennifer Aniston" haircut...and if there is something anyone can do to prevent cruelty or any wrongdoing, i don't understand why they would do it. I think Pink is absolutely right and fair in her tactics. Celebrities say things much worse about each other, hello, LL and "Paris is a c*@t?" At least she said something of some importance. Beyonce IS a VERY public figure and it is irresponsible of her to put the image out that wearing fur is okay! Wearing fur is disgusting, if you wouldn't wear your family pet, why would you wear fur! Ya know....first off, I have heard Pink comment on this issue many times, and she has never called anyone a "B" for wearing fur. I think the media has blown this out of proportion once again. She has said however, and I quote this from an audio interview, "to each their own of course. But, I think if you are going to buy fur, it should come with a video showing you exactly how it is you got that jacket your wearing. If you can still stomach it after seeing these alive skinned animals blinking at you in pain, and you can still stand behind what you're doing....then buy the jacket...you're a better person than me." She has never come off the way this article is stated. She just wants people to be educated on the practices.

As for the user commenting on Beyonce not being liable for killing the animals. Well, think of it this way. If Beyonce or WHOEVER stopped buying fur altogether, then the useless killing of animals for the sake of fashion, would not exist. There are plenty of alternatives to fur. So yeah, I think animals should bite people in the rear for buying fur.
