Poor Nicole. She used to be cute, fun and larger than her lame co-star, but now she is wasting away. I understood her initial excuse of losing weight but now it's out of hand. There was even this disturbing article in the Sunday NY Times this weekend regarding Pro-Ana or pro-anorexia, where young girls across the country are trying to look sickly skinny with references to Nicole Richie as their role model. The article mentions wearing the red bracelet like the one Nicole has on in this pic.
This is not breaking news but the fact that the front page of the NY Times Sunday Style section is about young girls starving themselves before spring break - well, it just makes me think maybe someone like Britney is actually a better role model these days. Someone who is carrying a few extra pounds who would rather be a mom than a club hopping and you know what. If only girls would realize guys like some curves and the skeletal skinny look is so not hot.
