Pose It Like Beckham

David Beckham was back in LA yesterday afternoon after hitting the field in DC and then warming the bench in New England. Becks spent the afternoon with his oldest son, Brooklyn, and the two handsome boys were generous enough to pose for a picture with a lucky (and aggressive) fan that came up to their car window to ask. This is also a little glimpse at his "23" monogrammed SUV (to match VB's Bentley, natch). So this may not be topless Becks playing in the rain, but it's still DB looking like the hotness with his adorable son. No complaints here.

I'll take whatever I can get when it comes to pictures of Becks even if you can barely see him in his car.

The groupie girl - she crossed the line, that's just tacky, I would have rolled the window back up on her fingers Smiling

As a mom, I notice his son has to be 12 years old over at least 100 pounds to sit up front in a car. under 80 pounds he has to be in the backseat for sure. The airbags will kill him. Its parked though ,no biggie. But if this was a woman, they would jump all over her for not taking care of her child properly, since its a man and a sports hero, noone notices. Their children are very cute. I wish them luck in LA. I use to live in Cali and they drive like maniacs out there. I think its rude to approach someone especially when they are with their children. They just want to be with Dad.

I don't envy Beckham and Posh their lives at all. He doesn't look too happy to be accosted while driving his car and I can't say I blame him.

Hey baby, how you doin'? Mwah.

I wouldn't run up to the car. I think it's INCREDIBLY tacky to approach celebrities/athlets on their private time. I'd be tacking a dozen pictures on my camera phone, but walking up to the car? No way.

And Brooklyn's too young to be in the front seat unless they have that airbag turned off.

    But enough about that. *lol*

I always joke about stalking my manmeats, but in reality it would never happen. I've managed to meet a few of my crushes, but only at formal events or ballgames where they're offering to meet fans.

Well and once when I was about 13 and saw Huey Lewis in a hotel lobby. I froze with my mouth gaping open, and he ended up asking me if he could give me his autograph.

But I agree...running up to the car? TACKY!!!
I've seen celebs close up at times but the reality is that I get nervous when I see them, why I have no idea..but I dont want to invade their personal space..although I'm there with the camera phone..snapping away

I should really bring my Canon digi-camera Smiling

I bet that posh is going to get mad that this girl walked up to him and took a picture like that. I mean she wouldn't even hire a pretty assistant.

I don't understand the obsession of running up to celebs to take pictures with them, etc. I mean here he is with his kid, leave him alone. She probably thought she'd get some play with him

I think it's fun to see celebs in person but I've always just left them alone. Just my opinion.

I agree you shouldn't do that, but when I saw michael Vartan at a club I went up to him, but I just told him I thought he was a good actor. I couldn't help it I always thought he was so cute and I was soo excited to see him.

Actually, once I was really tipsy and at my boyfriend's (at the time) bar where he worked and was standing next to that Aidan (John Corbett) from Sex and the City....I told him (or slurred) to him that I loved him in the show and he actually turned out to be an assh*le. So that was the only time I attempted to talk to a celeb, and it was because I had too much to drink. LOL!! Oh and he was losing his hair and probably did really use Rogaine. ha ha ha

Once at my chiropractor's office I sat waiting for the doctor with Damon Waynes. He's HOT and very tall and buff in real life. They offered to put him in the relaxation room before me (I was there first) and he said No, that I could go first. Awww, he was nice.

I still have a bad habit of freezing and gaping momentarily when it hits me that the person is "famous." Which has worked well sometimes. *lol* A lot of times they think it's funny and wave, whereas when someone just walks up to them, you can tell the politeness is forced and they want to be left alone.

I swear, every freaking time I go to Disneyland, someone's there. You know, besides the 30,000 regular folk.

So if he had dissed the fan and been rude, people would put him on blast. But he never seems to do that. The other day there was a picture of a fan kissing his head, HOW totally inappropriate and he didn't get mad or push her off of him or anything. He really seems like a hell of a guy. Fans need to have respect though, personal space is just that, PERSONAL.

The only time I met a celebrity, Canadian so that doesn't count for much lol), I had just come out of a club wiht one of my friends and we were getting pizza when he walked up with his girlfriend and ordered a pizza too and I was like oh my gosh i know this guy, he's one of my fave comedians. so I asked him, got the name totally wrong(how embarrassing) but he was really cool and we got photos and autographs and his girlfriend was super nice.
Jmast I ca't believe you met Damon Wayans I LOVE him.

Yeah, I agree Christina. Come on, kissing his head? I know they are famous but they don't know who the heck we are! I'd be scared. Especially when they have their kids with them...that's just wrong.

I went to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway (yes I know but my sister and I loved it as children so we had to see it when it was on Broadway..LOL!) and Joe Torre (Yankees manager) was there with his grandkids, I guess. And when the intermission came, there was a line of people asking to take pics with him and get his autograph. He was there with his family and nobody cared. It was insane. I felt really bad for him.

nyara, Damon was really hot, and he was bald which I love, and he's funny as heck so I was so excited. I didn't want to bother him because he looked like his back was really in pain but he actually sat down and said "hi, how are you?" to me and I basically smiled and managed to squeak out a "hi" LOL!!!

I never had to go back after that so I never saw him again. Darn it! I want my neck and back to act up again! Eye-wink
