it's so humbling and awesome to become a parent. that feeling of "oh my baby needs ME!" when you hear their cry in the night. for me at least, some of the charm wore off with subsequest 3:00 a.m. feedings, but i loved that time with my first and was so in awe of everything about her. they look so tired and sweet together. lots of special late night time.

My best friend who is prego for the first time just found out today she's having a boy!! I finally get to be an "Auntie"! I have a girl and a boy, and I told her how much easier boys are. It's amazing! And she's thrilled!
