Are You Warming Up To Tom Again?

It's hard to believe it's been two years since the world turned on Tom Cruise. Between his whirlwind romance with Katie, erratic interview behavior and hiding Suri for so long, the biggest movie star in the world quickly went from heartthrob to punching bag. Lately however, the rumors have died down and all we've been seeing is Tom being a great dad to his beautiful daughter, happy with his wife and hard at work on his movies. So we want to know - are you warming up to him again?

The couch jumping incident is the first thing that springs to mind whenever I hear his name. I just can't seem to forget it. It won't be forgotten that easily.

I like the work he does and has done in his movies but I still consider him pretty crazy....so it still may be quite a bit longer until I can call him sane again.

Never have been a fan and never will. I could once tolerate him but I can't even do that anymore.

No. His comments about PPD will make me intensely dislike him forever.

I don't care what his personal beliefs are and how he and his family choose to deal with illness. But to say that PPD isn't real and can be cured by vitamins for anyone and that treatment is hurting people... is disgusting. He can f' off.

no matter how you look at it he's crazy! if anyone other than a famous movie star acted the way that he does, they would be banished from society

If he had just kept his mouth shut for that crazy year that his actual, nutso personality emerged, he wouldn't have this image problem. I am grateful that he's kept quiet recently. Maybe if he keeps it up people will start to forget the crazy days... The test will be when one of his movies is about to come out and he's doing PR...

The only way he will win me over is if he denounces Scientology.

He's crazy in love! Since when is that so bad? I could jump up and down on every couch in AMERICA to show how much I love my husband. Why can't he feel the same as I do?

And I really don't think Scientology is as scary as everyone wants you to think. It's just about analysis of character.

I think it is crazy that people are so judgemental to these people. We think they must be miserable together if they aren't happy and hanging all over each other in pictures (Justin T and Jessica B) and they are called crazy if they actually announce that they are together and are affectionate in public. Also, the fact that he kept HIS child away from the paps is something that he should be commended for. It's disgusting that celebrities are always putting their children out there for the media. He may be crazy but at least he seems happy and isn't that all that should matter??

The only way I'd ever look at him and not feel disdain is if he denounced Scientology. Whether he's snuggling his adorable daughter or not, he's still nuts and that won't change as long as he's into Scientology.

Him being in love and being a Scientologist have absolutely nothing to do with why I cannot stand him.

It's his attitude that everyone else is wrong and he is right and everyone who disagrees with him is just "glib" or "doesn't get it."

I wouldn't hang out with him, but his new movie sounds really, really good. His movies have been consistantly good, and after watching War of the Worlds recently, I realize I can let go of the couch-baggage and focus on the story.

66 percent of you are hypocritical idiots...his "behavior" is none of your business and TOTALLY natural if you've ever been in love.

i've always liked tom cruise in movies. in real life i think he's a raving lunatic, but i'm able to separate the two. he had WAY to much media saturation the other year and really needed to be reeled in by his publicist. i think if he keeps his wacko comments (and couch jumping) to himself, he can recover.

I don't think anyone has to agree with the things he said or did. I'm also not saying anyone has to like the guy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though---where he went wrong though is trying to force his opinion off on everyone else. I personally do not agree with the things he said about PPD either. The fact is, the things he said is something he believes because of his religion. The way that some religions do not believe in birth control, or that you have to wear skirts and never pants, or you have to keep your face covered. All of these things could be viewed as a "crazy" part of someone's religion.

I think I can usually separate an actor's character versus their real life persona- except when it is so in-your-face! Tom was just a lunatic and I just can't forget that when I see him. He isn't THAT great of an actor to make me forget about his behavior and how outspoken he was about PPD and drugs. I think he realizes he lost fans and therefore changed his publicist (from his sister) and has been more hush on such touchy issues. He knows people are being critical and is trying to make better moves- may work, but not quite yet.

I think I liked him when I was in the 3rd grade and TopGun first came out in the theatres. The man is whacko and doesn't seem to be very talented either, but what do I know no one is paying me millions to be on screen.

Never really much of a fan. I don't think he's a big heart-throb or anything, and he's a big cheeseball to top it off.

He's definitely strange. But most organized religion will do that to someone... seriously.
