The Harry Potter kids are all grown up and ready to show the world Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The teenage stars rocked the red carpet at the LA premiere, especially Emma Watson in her up-do, who is just the cutest little movie star ever -- even though her dress looks like it had pills spilled on it. As if you needed a reminder, the movie comes out on Wednesday, excited? As for little Miss Watson, she recently talked to Parade about playing Hermione and what it's like to be a young woman these days:

“There are too many stupid girls in the media. Hermione’s not scared to be clever. I think sometimes really smart girls dumb themselves down a bit, and that’s bad.” Watson admits that there is quite a lot of herself in the confident and bookish Hermione. “I’m a bit of a feminist,” she proclaims. “I’m very competitive and challenging.”

Have I mentioned how great she is? Hopefully with all her stardom, she's able to keep that good head on her shoulders.

To see a whole bunch more pictures from the premiere, including Miley Cyrus, Antonio Sabato Jr (random), Ashley Tisdale and all the kids above just read more

Yay Emma! Is her dress Chanel? If so I guess she can just go ahead and spill whatever she wants on it!

I have to say I am sooooo missing something when it comes to the whole Harry Potter thing. I saw the first two and hated them so I gave up then. Each time a new one comes out and the hype starts again I briefly consider giving them another try but then I remember how incredibly bored I was when I had to sit through the second one in the cinema and how confused I was, and how lame it was to have to ask a six year old what the heck was going on!

Kiki Tee -- I think the first two movies were awful, but they were directed by Christopher Columbus and he just ruined them. The next two got a lot better...the young actors were more talented, and the story line has progressively become more dark and mature. The movies will never compare to the books in my opinion, but I do think that Daniel and Emma really do the lead characters justice.

Kiki, the movies just skim over the main plot points...if they went into too much detail they would be 30 hours long! The books are great, and i agree with Juju that Emma and Daniel do a really good job (especially after the first 2 movies).

I loved the first two books, then really loved the third book, then thing went way downhill until I HATED the last book and have no desire to buy the newest one.

I liked the first two movies a lot. Hated what they did do Prisoner of Azkaban. And I was pretty neutral on Goblet of Fire.

Not all that worried about seeing the new movie, either.

I think Antonio Sabato Jr. has a son (with Virginia Madsen) - that's probably why he was there.

Emma Watson is a very pretty girl. I hope she keeps that attitude as she matures and take Hollywood by storm leaving Lohan and other stupid young startlets out in the dust.

ddene5713, the two movies he's signed on for are book 6 and book 7. Meaning he can very well die in book/movie 7.

Greggie, your opinion of the books/movies is so interesting, because it is so different from mine! The first movies were more about "ooh lookey, a picture that talks!", instead of being about the actual plot of the books.

I love how there are so many themes that are present in disguise (terrorism and politics, idealization of the dead, racism, prejudice based on class, etc.) I think when all is said and done, Harry will go down as a modern day classic.

I think it will, too. I just don't think being a classic means being universally liked. Smiling

I think the first few were wonderfully simple. And it seemed like once they hit, Rowling got to be too big for her britches and threw in a ton of crap that means nothing but keeps people on message boards chatting for hours over hidden symbols.

    And I still hated Half-Blood Prince. Eye-wink

Can't wait for the movie. And I LOVE Miley Cyrus. I'm not ashamed to admit that at 35, I'm addicted to "Hannah Montana" ("Miley like a puma")

Padraigin, I am addicted to Hannah Montana and I am 16. It is nice to know that my friends and me are not the only ones who are a fan of the show and are over the age of 12.
