Madonna got in some final work out time before her big performance at Saturday's Live Earth event. We're super excited to see the show with its already incredible line-up and possible surprise appearances. NBC will be broadcasting a 3 hour special featuring highlights from all the concerts around the world, while Bravo will air 18 hours of live coverage from the huge event. The whole thing will also be streaming live on MSN online. So we want to know, will you be watching?

No. I don't plan to be outdoors, either, it's too damn hot. I just have absolutely no interest in Live Earth and even less in Madonna.

I'll watch some of it, but I don't have the attention span to make that kind of commitment. 18 hours, is just too long.

No not even interested, it's so boring and unoriginal bob Geldof already beat them to it, twice.

I appreciate why the concert is taking place but, no, I do not plan on watching. If I happen to have the tv on, I may switch over just to see who is on at the moment.

On a related note, The National Museum of the American Indian (A Smithsonian museum) on the Mall In Washington DC will be having a day long concert on 07/07/07 to honor "Our Mother Earth". This concert is in affiliation with the Live Earth Events but will not be broadcast. Here's a link to the NMAI site just in case you are interested http://www.americanindian.si.edu/motherearth/.

If you get a chance to visit DC on vaction, a trip to the NMAI is a must. The NMAI open in the Fall of 2004 and is a wonderful museum dedicated to the First Peoples of the Americas.

Nope. Have no interest. I think it's a pointless exercise. By staging all these concerts aren't they going to be using a huge amount of electricity. And you can be sure that a lot of the performers will be travelling to the gigs via private jet, and then collected by an SUV. How will this help?????

NOPE...sorry, going to go SUV shopping... Just kidding, but I do have more conscience things to do. Should I sit around watching gas-guzzling celebs tell me about the importance of saving the earth, or do I actually do something positive in my community for 3 hours...I'm choosing community. Hey, Rain Moon, that sounds interesting. I actually live in DC, that sounds like a fun activity to do!!!!

I have tickets to the show in NJ and will be heading down from Manhattan. The point of the concert is to raise awareness, and the organizers have gone to great lengths to reduce the impact of the event on the environment.

there are other more effective/environmentally ways to raise awareness about an issue, getting a bunch of people to sing a song is not one......

What's with all the Madonna haters?!? You know everyone will be talking about her amazing performance tomorrow!! Great cause and more people should respect their environment. A little change can go a long way...

I think it's a great event and cause but I don't really have any interesting in sitting in front of the TV and watching it all. I'm sure the best performances will be up on youtube or something eventually.

Ladybug it's actually about a bunch of egomaniacs flying in on their private planes arriving in gas guzzling limosines and creating a huge power surge on a stage just so they can create more ego boosting cheers and kiss butts telling them how wonderful and beautiful and great they are in the name of recycling. Yup, we're all a bunch of hypocrites. When these mansion living, limosine driving private plane people can live like ED BEAGLEY, JR. Then I will watch them sing for our earth. AMEN.

No. Global warming is a crock and a totally liberal issue and it's a bunch of Al Gore loving celebrities or celebrities that hate America so much that they decided to leave altogether like Madonna.

I doubt I'll watch it. After all they keep telling us to stop producing CO2, so I won't put on my TV to watch it, and Mother Nature will love me for that.

    Ha, Gore, take that! *lol*
