LOL, the Weasel-Woodpecker Meme Is Now a Mobile Game

Important Update:

You can now play a weasel woodpecker mobile game. It's currently available for Android with an iOS version coming soon. The premise? You're the weasel and have to jump onto a woodpecker and stay on its back. Get more points as you swoop around, and complete a level whenever you successfully make it to dry land. Welp, there goes the rest of our day.

Original Story:

If you've been online lately and haven't seen British photographer Martin Le-May's photo of a weasel hitching a ride atop a woodpecker, then you're missing out on something spectacular. People around the web lost it over the unlikely friendship between the two animal buddies — that is, until the photographer told BuzzFeed that the weasel was actually attacking the woodpecker. While both the rodent and bird walked (or flew) away unscathed, the Internet didn't get so lucky . . . in fact, Twitter was so enchanted by the weasel-pecker duo that it created memes you can never unsee. Check out some of our favorites ahead.
