I think he's hideous and I wouldn't date a junkie, but he is a really talented musician and that makes the ladies swoon. Lots of ugly rockers get whoever they want, and it isn't just because they have money. It happens to the nonfamous all the time. Girl falls in love with the unemployed, unkempt musician, just because he can sing a pretty tune...Heck, it's happened to me! (Embarrassing admission .)

I definitely don't think being talented is an excuse for anything, Jillness. Some girls just make excuses for their partners because they are so drawn to their abilities or creativity. I'm glad I got over that phase of my life! Seems like a woman in her 30's with a kid would know better by now...but she likes the drugs too.
